Ok. I know people are going to praise it because it’s MCU Spider-Man but…..I was a bit disappointed.

CGI was shockingly bad and a bit too much awkward Disney like humor that again just didn’t work again.
This isn’t even frustration about no Tobey and Andrew.

I just feel a bit empty with it.

Y’know, despite the other Spider-Men not showing up, I’m quite pleased with this trailer!

Showed some cool new scenes and gave us our first official looks at all the villains. (I’m 98% sure that Sony edited out Tobey and Andrew in the scene where Tom is jumping towards the Fearsome Five.)

Also, the CGI is bad? Really? I understand not liking CGI, but what they’ve shown so far is pretty good.

Yeah. The entire movie actually looks really, really bad. I actually thought “I feel bad for Alfred Molina” while watching.

I had the exact same thought.

Forget about not seeing Tobey and Andrew, what this trailer showed was a complete dud for me, and made the movie look like a mess with some cool fanservice.

I'm kind of stunned right now at how nothing landed for me.

not the greatest trailer. CGI looks off, Doc Ock joke is lame, Strange talking about Scooby Doo? What? Hell, something definitely off about Strange in this. He doesn't sound like himself at all.

Yeah, no. That's going from putting on the clown costume to straight up just jumping into the chemical vat.

There won't be another trailer, just as I'm sure that Sony will remain stubborn enough to keep this concealed until release.

i'm all for crapping on sony for their bad decisions (for which there have been many)

but this is a rare L for Feige, I think. This is how he wanted it. Sony would've loved to get all 3 in press junkets and promotion, I think. The in theater reveal will be amazing now, assuming it doesn't leak beforehand (it will)

What's the deal with Strange's line "They all die fighting Spider-Man"? Only Norman and Electro died fighting Spider-Man. Ock turned good again before sacrificing himself and Sandman and Lizard didn't die at all.
