You're assuming the Kaare Andrew's is playing by the 616 continuity rules. Which I don't think he is!
The only thing I saw out of continuity was Kraven still being alive.
That aside, as I said, look at his posture in this issue and the cover to issue #3. It speaks for itself. The Doc is clearly a dead man.
Not at all.
In fact, when you look at him carting Spidey across the city, his head is actually looking at him as he's carrying him.
As for the tentacles motivations in taking Spidey to the graveyard; If i'm correct and they are operating with some remnant conciousness/instinct from Octavius' mind. Then the question could also be asked, why would HE even want to do that himself?
Well, that's where we'll have to disagree. Interesting theorey you have, but I can't see how it would be executed. If Ock is dead, then the tentacles are dead.
Not that I'm against the idea of a walking, vengeful Ock corpse. I just don't see how such an idea could be executed.
