Has anyone checked this book out?

http://www.amazon.com/Spider-Man-Ic...3373529?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1193094963&sr=8-1

I saw it today, and sat down and skimmed it, and it took me atleast an hour to skim it, its that big. But its an amazing read, with some RARE pictures in it, such as the proposed Spider-Man movie from Canon films, and some great old school toys too.

Its very up to date, it even deals with the latest movie and the new Spidey cartoon to debut on WB next year. I suggest everyone give it a look, its pretty coasty (near 50 bucks if i remember correctly) but its a very thick book and very worth the price if i say so.

For die hard fans, i think it might be a must have, but just throwing it out there.

I've heard of the book before, it looks very good. I'll be checking into it.

I've been waiting for this book for a few weeks. I'll be getting this for sure!

I will probably get it for my birthday if not sooner. My birthday is November 7th.

Cool. I ordered mine through my comic shop a few weeks back...they left me a message saying that it came in today, so i'll have to pick it up this weekend.

Cant wait! :word:

even though the story and tales they go through, from beginning to now of Spidey comics.

Those tale ends to each chapter, showing the merch and rare aspects of Spidey in life, is amazing to see, and just make you mark out a bit.

Yeah, I saw this recently, and I had a flick through it (which took a while :D) and it's a fantastic book. I really want to get a copy.

It's already on my christmas list, along with the marvel vault

I got mine a while ago and it's definetly the best book on Spidey I've seen. Pick it up for sure!

Most books I wouldn't DARE think of wasting 60 bucks on. But this book, is beyond worth it if you are a Spidey fan. It's a great read and has some really nice photos. I love Stan Lees Foreword. I recommend to all fans to pick this book up..

A+:woot:

I got it finally for Christmas, and it was worth every penny (for my parents -_-).

I have not able to get a chance to READ through it, but i been skimming around, jumping to the different stuff in it, and its fascinating.

I love This book.Got it for X-mas.Right now I'm in the 1970's.

superb book (thats an understatement). i love the suuit that was made for a very early photo shoot. thought it looked better than the one for the t.v. series. best book on spidey ion all his incarnations bar none.

I'm happy everyone likes the book. I originally supplied them with over 300 photos to use for the book, and they could only use so many as the book was filling up fast. I thought it might be fun to post a few that weren't used in the publication here.

Here is something rarely seen, the Funstuff 1975 Web Shooters with store display.

Wow, That defenitley is rare. If I was alive back then, I defenitley would have bought that.

By the way, you chose awesome photos for the book! :spidey::up:

Thanks! I've gotten great compliments on them. I gave them the photos that Steve requested, and added quite a few more that I thought might interest you guys. In the meantime, here's another item that ironically now is controversial, and features Mephisto way back on a Spidey toy in 1980. I believe its only one of 2 Spider-Man toys that featured Mephisto prominently on the box. Once again this is one they didn't publish in "Spider-Man: The Icon". Check out the size in comparison to the Mego.

Wow! It's much bigger than the Mego figure. The figure looks cool and I would love to have it.
