It's actually from 32 to 40. The ads are included in that 40-page count, so we're only getting 8 more pages, which I don't think is worth an extra dollar.
23 pages in a $2.99 comic is approximately 8 pages per buck.... so why wouldn't it be worth it to pay another dollar for 8 more pages?
You're currently paying a buck for 7 2/3 pages as it stands now, so your logic makes very little sense...
