I haven't read any of it yet, but my thought right now looking at the previews of some of it is: I'd have been so much more excited for this if they it was 616 Peter Parker and Ultimate Peter Parker. Wish they'd done this before they killed him off.

I agree about Ultimate Peter Parker. I don't know Miles and I don't want to know Miles. I would be way more into this crossover if it featured both Peters.

I'd rather the real Peter deal with this alternate, crappy world, where a version of himself was beaten to death by Osborn, and he served as another person's uncle Ben, than just meeting some younger version of himself.

Hmm, those are some interesting angles.... nope still don't give a crap enough about Miles though. Eh, could still be good though, Bendis seems to think this is gonna be like a highlight of his work.

Honestly Peter has met so many alternates and clones of himself that I think that stories has been told over and over. Ultimate Peter and 616 Peter history is just too similar. I think Miles brings an interesting dynamic is that he is not Peter Parker. He isn't an alternate of someone Peter knows. He doesn't think the same way either.

Also I think Miles will simply be a better Spiderman for the Ultimate Universe. Peter was overstaying his welcome.

Sure she's a clone but I think everyone has ignored all that in light of all the death that's happened in the last year. Whats one clone in the face of Ultimatum and the nuking of Washington DC?

I don't think it would be any more then "Oh bleep there's a Gwen who is still alive......sorta". He's not really going to strike up a romance with her. I think it would be more interesting for Aunt May. This woman see's a man who is either Peter all grown up or his father(since Richard was once upon a time drawn to look like 616 Peter).

Miles is not bland or boring. He's handling this whole superhero gig like a cool bro. He hasn't had to deal with the sacrifice yet.

I can't wait for that meeting. And I think its sweet 616 mysterio is also ultimate mysterio that twist was an interesting reveal there.

This is the first book with 616 Spidey that I've picked up since OMD, and I'm mainly reading it for Miles and the Ultimate U stuff.

So far it's been alright, except I can't help feeling slightly annoyed whenever Peter's around. I'm starting to think maybe this why I was never a huge Spider-Man fan, his style is just not for me. Ultimate Peter, it didn't feel like the same thing, I could dig him a little more. Just thinking aloud.

Anyway I am excited to see Ultimate May/Gwen deal with Peter, and give them the closure they need. And for Goodness sake Miles better have some webs by the end of this.

I've really been enjoying this series. Miles comes off as a likeable character, seems like a cool kid. I like his different Spider-Man abilities. I really like how Ult Peter was an inspiration to him. But yeah, he definately needs a webshooter. The Mysterio twist was really cool and the chat with May and Gwen was really heartwarming. Say what you will about Bendis, but he did a great job with that scene. Even the parts with Peter and Fury and Tony stark were cool. Looking foward to the finale with the Ultimates or the ult Avengers or whoever.
