Like the most popular graphic novel Death of Superman and the new animated Superman Doomsday that was just released I always thought there should be a new trilogy comic series like it but:

The Death of SPider-Man

This is where we see Parker get old and get captured and his identity exposed to the world, he is fired from Daily Bugle for being Spiderman and he later gets a job as a teacher. The main villains come back for one round and a major battle insues but they are defeated so a scientist uses the DNA of Parker to create a evil mutated form of Spider-Man called:

Spider-Cide

a creature with his powers and more based off the comic but more deadly and dangerous and a all out battle indues. Parker is killed and a funeral after MJ and him have a daughter. The series picks up after where a new spiderman appears with great powers to stop a new threat.

Just a thought..what you think or think of something cool.:spidey: :sym: :bomb:

garbage! why? most of that junk is happening now and its lame. evil muated spider-man? how much lamer can you get?

Sounds like a mercy killing after the past couple of years worth of Spider-Crap we've had.

I want to see the "Re-Death" of the Green Goblin.

Have you read Spider-Man: Reign?

It's excellent, and (no offence,) far better than this idea.

Check it out, the end will make your heart warm

It's basically, 'The last Spider-Man story.'

I had trouble with the fact that JJ was apparently younger than Peter in this story.

I want to see the "Re-Death" of the Green Goblin.

A lot of people have been waiting for that for a long time.

Have you noticed, that since his 'return,' a lot of Spidey/GG battle end where it can be easily interperated as he's died:huh:

At the end of each one I ALWAYS wish that'll happen

You thought that??? Really?? I didn't think so.

But to be fair, Peter has taken FFFFFAAAAAAAAAAARRRR more of a physical AND emotional beating than JJJ

Also, I don't mean to be rude, but that really doesn't give any insight to how deep the story was.

That was more fanboy nitpicking, that doesn't really affect the story at all.

We're talking about a smoaker who doesn't lead a healthy lifestyle.... JJ shouldn't even be frigging alive when Peter's 80.

Unlike Supes, there's still so much situation Spidey can be placed in. Death/Old age stories are totally unnecessary.

This already happened. Except replace evil mutated Spider-man with magical vampire guy who revived for reasons unknown. And replace a fight indues with eye ripping and head eating. Make it a twelve part cross over where he was opriginally dying from something else and walla! You have a death of Spider-man comic.

If Spider-man were to die by anyone it in my mind would have to be GG and if he ever were to die i want each of them to fight it to the death literally have GG do something to push peter to the limit and just go at until there both dead.Thoughts?

we've also already seen a scientist use Peter's DNA to create a mutated clone of Spider-man called Spidercide.

Supes doesn't have story potential? Did I just read that correctly?

No. Not what I meant. It's just that over the years Supes has kind of done it all, from being the greatest Hero on earth to multiple galaxies. IMO his best stories are now those told out of continuity unlike Spiderman who has a long way to go in comparison to Supes.

Soon, Spider-man's best stories will be out of continuity. So what's the difference?

Ah, ok, I disagree, but see your point.

What I meant was that Superman as a man has achieved the highest goals imaginable in life and affected his world profoundly, so I find stories about him in divergent realities welcome.
Stories could be told about him as a child, boy, teen, Smallville (not the TV series), old man or will he be immortal, parents, his future kids, even grandkids and it would all be interesting because it fits into his personal story of being sent here to Earth.

Spider-man on the other hand is just a guy still learning how to stand on his feet. What Spidey will be like as an old man is not so important (IMO he's not fully adult yet) as will he survive adulthood.

I simply meant that Supes works better in such stories.

Didn't Spider-Man die already, in that abyssmal 'Other' storyline, from those keystone cops JMS and Alonzo?
