Ok, so I'm going to be that guy...

I only found out today that John David Washington is Denzel's son.

I know, I know...

You're not alone. The whole movie I thought "Wow, is he trying to sound like Denzel in some scenes?" It was only afterwards I found out it was his son.

Steve Buscemi's brother is also in this as one of the detectives. Same thing happened where I thought he sounded a lot like Steve Buscemi but only kind of looked like him. Had to IMDB him after to be sure.
