Turns out nuclear radiation is a bad thing.
That guy is legally dead, but he pokes into someone else's memory and that ends up with subtle time travel and healing near the end.
He shot his eye out.
His nemesis from the previous films was actually his brother all along, and his father knew it.
His wife is dead.
This sounds somewhat familiar..... what is it from?
Probably a few movies, but the one I had specifically in mind was Austin Powers in Goldmember
Two guys who were set up meet a murderer in prison, escape and wander around a swamp until they find some spaghetti.
It was made out of people, they've been eating people.
The doctor and his wife hadn't had sex for too long.
He was supposed to say "I AM THE NIGHT"
He survives. And he gets a new dog.
He didn't kill the girls.
They killed the serial killer, and burnt the entire school.
He kills all the bad guys, turns out he was "the law" after all.
He gets hired to make a movie in Taiwan.
He told them about his monstrous plan about half an hour after it was complete.
The subordinate male protagonist arrived and helped save the day.
Due to a last minute heroic sacrifice the world was saved.
He snapped his fingers and half the universe disappeared
He accidentally goes back in time and now has to fix the future after he altered it.
A monster and his best pal work a job to scare, and accidentally end up finding a little girl who they need to keep a secret.
One of the main characters who is delightful, charming and lifted the somewhat dour lead out of his tedious and inhibited existence dies off screen inexpliably during the second act leaving both him and the audience utterly hollow and empty.
It turns out he knew the girl all along and has been helping her even past retirement to repent for what he's done.
And the goat never spoke to him again.
