I must say, it's very, very, addictive. Not so addictive that you have too much of it and you get sick of it, but addictive enough to make you wanna play more, it's great once you get into the swing of things, very reminicent of Spider-Man 2 game, in my opinion.
Is anyone gonna buy it? I would but have no money :(

Are we talking about the same game?
the one that was rated 5.5 at IGN?
I've downloaded it for PS2, and man...it's just a piece of garbage.
Supes moves like a robot, the missions are boring and repetitive and the sound score is not even Superman's...

Presentation aside, Superman Returns does do plenty of things well in the gameplay department. Flying at super-speed is a great feeling, and zipping between the skyscrapers of Metropolis feels even better than wall-crawling in the acclaimed Spiderman games. Superman comes equipped with most of his powers, including heat vision, freeze breath and blow breath, although X-ray vision is absent, most likely to keep the game rated T for Teen, if ya know what I mean. Because Superman is pretty much invincible, it is Metropolis that features a life bar, and it's up to you to ensure it doesn't deplete.

That was really what I was talking about, and what I enjoyed. And what I find interesting, that it's not a life bar of Superman, it's a lifebar of Metropolis. I find that very interesting and a good change from normal games.

The final boss in Superman Returns: The Videogame is a tornado. Not Lex Luthor. Not General Zod, not that nuclear guy -- not even Richard Pryor. A tornado!

Again, another interesting aspect. You don't save yourself: you save Metropolis. Anyway, I like it, you hate it, and I'm talking about the Xbox 360 version, again. No wannabe versions, please :o:p
