Superman Returns SR runner-up in Biggest Disappointment of the Year award

Winner in that category was X3. The information is already posted in the X3 forum, so i thought it fair to post it here too.

SR was nominated in Best FX (as was X3), a runner-up for Best Action Sequence and the Superman Ultimate Collection was Best DVD release.

Some so-called "Lovers" were told by some of the so-called "Haters" that the Saturn awards didn't mean anything, and the real awards were the Golden Globes or Oscars. Let's see if these obsure awards now mean something...

The Golden Scmoes are just "awards" decided by the web master (Joblo) and the members of the message board (or schmoes). Basically all of the members see the categories and vote in the categories. It's nothing more than message board opinion.

And the reason I know this is because I'm a member of said message board (but did not, however, participate in the Golden Schmoes. ).

I am with you and in essence you are 100% right. Of course we would be more apt to finesse a point more along the lines than our own, whether it be an article or another posters opinion.
