The report we got about what they told him to cut and what not to cut. Didnt they tell him that the RTK scene didnt fit with the rest of movie.

offtopic. this sentence just jumped out of me. did they really tell him that it doesnt fit in the movie? i thoughtthat this was singers decision. if they really told him that it dioesnt belong in the movie than their IQ must be lower than 10. this was one of the most important scenes of the movie.

I think so, he said he was considering cutting it anyway, but when the test audience agreed it confirmed his thoughts.

It has passed batman begins' worlwide box office numbers right? We are definitely going to get a sequel even though it has not reached 200 million yet because beating the great batman begins in the worldwide tally means something.

Well both Singer and WB have confirmed a summer 2009 release date, so thats further along than any other movie expected for '09.

I thought they learned their lesson with SR. Just move the sequel to November. It's still a profitable period and if they can move a dark movie like I AM LEGEND to November , they sure as heck can do that.

With our recent discussions about Brian Singer, i think he'll make a movie in the same way as SR which just isn't suited for the blockbuster period of summer.

^Well i think the sequel will be more action packed so it will be more suited to a summer release. But i also think it will be darker so we'll see.

Damn . The Zod they got their looks frikkin amazing. If they can go with that Zod in the movies , then i'm actually PRO ZOD.

I only know Zod from supes II and i thought he was REALLY bad character, and i dont mean bad as in evil. I thought he was a really poor character and would not want to see him again.

That's one of the advantages of Superman 1 and 2 , things are presented in in such a way which you can expand upon.

Yep, and also showcase the action in the trailers. But i would prefer Brainiac or Darkseid for the sequel.

It did 300k last week with 120 theatres. Most of them IMAX.....IMAX isn't going anywhere this weekend.
