Stan Lee cameo?

Harry Potter wouldn't exist without J.K. Rowling either, but you don't see her parading around in all those movies.

But i wouldnt whine about it if she did.

Also; keep in mind that all the various directors INVITE Stan to cameo in their films. You make it sound like he's forcing himself down their throats or something.

tell you what; if it bothers you so much, close your eyes for the 10 seconds or so he's on screen. I'm sure it wont effect the story one bit.

He is a man who drinks a bottle of soda that has Banner's blood in it. He gets gamma poisoning and leads the military to Banner. It actually advances the plot.

It's my favorite Stan-cameo yet as well. Some Stan cameos just feel like they draw too much attention to the fact that it's a cameo. Like Stan's cameo in Iron Man, or FF2. This was actually a real part, which was probably originally written for someone else.

I don't think so. Lauren Shuller Donner was asked about that when it came to the Wolverine pick ups/re-shoots, but I don't think it was considered a serious possibility. Stan only shows up in movies of characters he created, out of the characters that have been advertised as being in Wolverine the only one he created was 'The Blob'. edit: whoops, and Cyclops, both small roles I imagine.

Tbh, I have been known to get a little tired of the cameos, but they're not that big a deal really. Best one I thought was having him show up as Willie Lumpkin in FF1. That would have been a good one to carry on as he was playing an actual role of an actual Marvel character, but then they had him show up as himself in FF2, I did find that moment funny though.

I like Stan Lee in the movies and I think it's really neat they're doing it. My favorite cameo is him in Iron Man.
