From the main page :
Q: Are there any Marvel films you'd like to see rebooted?
Lee: Maybe the Hulk a little bit. Maybe. I'd like them to bring Daredevil back and try it again. I've always liked that character.

Q: Why the Hulk?
Lee: I think the Hulk should have been even a bigger hit than he was. Maybe if they have a third go-round he will be. I mean, he did well, but he should have been a smash.

I love Stan but....:csad:

Although it is the FIRST TIME he has ever said something that wasn't completely positive about a marvel movie:hehe:

Stan is pissed about the Hulk's BO. Welcome to the club... too bad Marvel didn't deliver as well as we hoped when they took their shot. Two strikes and you are pretty much out.

I'm sure Hulk will get rebooted somewhere down the line but I'm still optimistic for TIH2 .
This film should of been a bigger hit though. I wasn't a fan of Ang lee's Hulk but even that should of done better. Hulk is such an awesome character.

Man, I really wish they could have made a sequel where the Leader invents the gamma bomb. It would part action and part disaster film. Iron Man, War Machine, and Nick Fury would guest star. If they wanted a good reason to create the Avengers later, the gamma bomb would be it!

I'm still rooting for a Daredevil vs. Punisher film. But don't call it Marvel Knights.

Yea... I want to see TIH2 with Leader in it.

But isnt Edward Norton against a sequel or something because he had some disagreements with the director? (Or was it the director who got angry... I cant remmeber but anyway)

That's the sad part of my Hulk sequel idea...

The two films just haven't captured the public's imagination. You'd think Hulk would be a slam dunk, but apparently not.

He's delusional to think the third time will be a charm.
The reason it performed underwhelmingly is due to the negative feelings the public had of Angs version, you redo **** again and it wont strike customer confidence it'll end up crashing and burning even more then if they build on what they already have.

Just save him for the Avengers.

It's too bad the movie wasn't a success like everyone wanted to be, but there's no reason for yet another reboot. It was a good and entertaining Movie and left a good foundation to build on. Just make a sequel.

But that can be resolved just be hiring a new director.

And as for having another shot at Daredevil, I like the idea but maybe if it were a team-up with Hulk, kill two birds with one stone.

I don't think rebooting a movie for a second time will make people like it even more... but honestly, I wouldn't mind seeing another Hulk film. :)

Does anyone know how well TIH did as far as DVD/Blu-Ray sales? As Bubonic said, I also think a lot of people were turned off from TIH due to Ang's film. Maybe more people gave the second film a chance when it came out on home video since they were sketchy on seeing it in the theatre.

Personally, i'm not a hardcore Hulk fan, more of a casual fan so I enjoyed both Ang's and Letterrier's films and am happy with having both. I could care less if they didn't do all that well at the BO.

I did not read the Stan quote as him wanting another reboot, just another Hulk movie that he hopes would do better and get it right.

I think we will see Hulk solo movie after the Avengers. Hopefully he is used well enough in that movie that there will be interest in a Hulk sequel [just like Marvel did with him in the comics, his solo book "under preformed" - the revived him in the Avengers - and soon after he had his own feature again].

Ahh, he just wants Hulk to be successful. I doubt his problems have anything to do with how good it was. If Iron Man underperformed at the B.O., he'd probably want a reboot for that too.

A fun, exciting sequel would do way more for Hulk than another reboot.

I saw no mention of a HULK "Reboot" in that interview. I did say a third go round, but I take that to mean a third movie [or a sequel to TIH].

He certainly wants more marvel chars to appear on screen together.... I hope we see new punisher and daredevil or even ghost rider news soon

Norton had no problems with the director. He has went on record saying that he loved working with him. He had a problem with a Marvel executive, and that executive is gone now.

Teh Power of Bruce Banner

Oh Stan. You so crazy!

I love Stan Lee but he's just being stubborn.

The public just doesn't care for Hulk. They probably think he's a silly character.

He's an A-list character in comic books. But in the movies he's always going to be a C-list.

Just accept it Stan, not all your creations are destined for Hollywood stardom.

There are only 3 possible ways a Hulk movie can be a success.

1. Use the motion camera technology that was used in AVATAR.

2. Have more Hulk on screen then Banner. The huge success of Avatar has proven that moviegoers don't have a problem with accepting and paying for a movie whose main characters are CGI inteligent strange looking beings and have more screen time then the humans.

3. Have Hulk be the original classic intelligent mean Hulk, who could talk like a normal person, but had a nasty/grumpy/angry attitude. Check out the recent PLANET HULK animated movie for the type of Hulk I want to see.

You'd think Hulk would be a slam dunk

Not me. All I thought it was going to be when I first heard about it was something like, "Well, it might have potential, but I can't see it fly."

Add Captain America and Avengers for that matter too. I can see both of those having about the box office draw of that silly G.I.Joe movie (and I'm buggered if I know anyone who thought that one would be a good idea). Thor could be another Hulk-like "possible maybe".
