Finished it. Great fun. Very reminiscent of Camp Cretaceous as a kids intro into a older skewed property.

I paused so many times to look at the fleet in the finale.

Good news, a Starfleet whale showed up. Bad news, no uniform.

4 episodes down. As much as McMahon and the Lower Decks crew are chock full of Star Trek references and are clearly fans, the Prodigy crew is something else. And I love the new cadet uniforms, nice evolution of Nog's from DS9, and I absolutely love Gwyn's suit, as it feels as if it integrates the heirloom into the design.

The temporal mechanics 101 presentation was amazing. Though, I suspect Temporal Investigations objected strongly to how to build a time machine. And kind of surprised the Sisko's trip to the Bell Riots and Picard's trip to Montana was declassified.

I like Maj'el as a new member of the core group. My only issue is that the voice actor does not do a great vulcan deadpan. Chalk it up to Maj'el actually being young, and not fully emotional control. Her dyed hair may indicate she is a bit of a Vulcan rebel.

just finished season 2 wow what a way to end it I really hope we get a 3rd one. I have to say Kate Mulgrew was so good in this I always liked her as Janeway and she was great as both the hologram and the admiral
