I finally saw it today, and it was perfectly done.

And Boimler doing the Riker Maneuver in front of Jonathan Frakes (who directed the episode!) was *chef's kiss*.

To be honest...Lower Decks did not interest me at all until they had their crossover episode with SNW. After that...decided to check it out, just finished S3 and I love it way more than I was expecting.

I got the first 3 seasons DVDs over the weekend. I'm on season 2 now. The series is hilariously fantastic. I love all the Trek references thrown around everywhere. Damn cool show.

I had a feeling you would love it. It's a wonderful love letter to the classic Trek series and such a treasure trove of references.

Since I know you wait for the DVDs, you are going to have a ton of fun with the Strange New Worlds/Lower Decks crossover when season 2 of Strange New Worlds comes out on DVD this winter.
