Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

Any chance they make a Force Unleashed 2?

Its possible theyll use what they created here, but i mean the story wont tie into this one in any way. Itd have to be set in a different time period. Maybe beyond Return of the Jedi.

Major Spoiler:
Starkiller is killed in the end, but in his death, the Rebel Alliance is born, so we deff wont see him again.

a must rent, maybe... but i'm not shelling out $60 for a 7-8 hour campaign... especially not one who's average score is a 7.

As a Star Wars fan, its a worthy title to add to your collection. I think the game is a blast, and i dont need reviewers to tell me what it is or isn't, i can make up my own mind.

I buy games for longevity. If I know I can beat the game in a few days, I rent it and play the hell out of it in that given time. Then if I feel I need more, I rent it again. Ten dollars is better than sixty. Y'all say it is all good, and I believe you, but I can't get around the longevity. Any game can be so fun for the first weeks to first month, but after that, then what?

And I think y'all mean Battlefront, not Battlegrounds.

Oops! Yeah you're right about Battlefront not Battlegrounds.

I understand buying a game for longevity but I don't understand calling a game bad because it's not 60 hours worth of hack-n-slash. The game is fun and it might be 60 dollars fun but it's probably not what I would call 60 dollars long.

So I can see your point when you're talking about renting the game, but I've shunned renting games. I don't have the time or dedication to beat a game overnight or even over the course of the week no matter how short it is. (The last time I did that was with Gears of War, which was far shorter than any game I could imagine and yet still vastly popular) So renting to me seems like a hassle. The worst thing that could happen is I could decide to trade the game in or better yet trade the game with a friend.

But nevertheless I concede that if your primary concern is length TFU is not for you.

Nah, my some of my beef with the game is the fact the combat is like a not as good God of War and the combo moves you unlock make no real difference to the gameplay. Id have liked if you had to use certain combos to defeat harder foes, so that certain combos were actually needed to be bought to help defeat more difficult foes. Some aspects of the story I didnt like but thats my personal opinion on it, I can see why people would love it though.
Yeah the Force moves were over the top but thats what this game is all about, its called the Force Unleashed! I didnt like the effects of some of the Force powers such as Push though.
And no, I have no problem with Vader taking an apprentice, why would I? After all he had a few others around this time too. Yeah Im a massive Star Wars fan boy and I get a bit irrate at some of the things that have happend to the Star Wars story and Universe but at the end of the day, its my opinion and I dont have to love everything Star Wars that is released. I did enjoy the Force Unleashed but am glad I didnt buy it, due to the fact Ive done nearly all of the extras and the achievments wthin 12 hours. Overall, well done to the cast and production team for making a fun ride :)

Why is Lucas even doing a Star Wars TV series set between III and IV now? This pretty much covers the only interesting stuff I would have like to seen be the underlying back story of the series.

To me I got TFU on the Wii, graphics on the Wii are graphics on the Wii, not greatest quality, and that is expected.

I think the new mechanics of the game and the overall story were put together very well.

with that being said we get into the longevity issue; and I think people are comparing TFU to the more recent Star Wars video Games, like they compared the Clone Wars movie to the Live Action Movies, and to compare them isn't right.

Personally speaking with the story aspects of the Game, I myself tend to compare it the Jedi Outcast games (which has had tremendous Multiplayer Longevity to it/modding/mapping/skins) and to KOTOR (which had a web of side quests/social interactions/etc.)

My personal feelings on the game length, was that they could have made us use the character to interact more with other characters and/or be the one who is repsonsible for figuring out where the jedi are, and not just be told. Another thing which i felt lacked was a puzzle challenge of sime sort during gameplay.

TFU is its own category, a straight foreward RPG

I think LucasArts hit its prime with the release of KOTOR though
though i think games like TFU are a welcome addition I cant help but think that LucasArts doesnt consider MultiPlayer a prime aspect of all their games with people still playing FFA on a game from EARLY 2002 (JO2) KOTOR II/Battlefront series keep falling shy and frankly with this game not being released on PC...another sore spot ( ill never understand that a PSP can handle the game, but PC gamers grpahics cards cant?)

TFU is a great game, but 1 month from now it'll have a dustball on it

If I may: LucasArts hit its prime in the mid to late 90's with their massive array of point-and-click games for Mac, PC, and their one PS2 game. Day of The Tentacle, Indiana Jones and The Fate of Atlantis, and, in particular, Escape from Monkey Island were all more fun for me as they were more intellectual than the games we've got now.

p.s. The guys who did the empeor's voice SUCKED

He wasn't that bad, just a few scenes he over-acted in...

Namely all of them, but then again he was probably basing it off of the psychopathic Episode III Palpy and not calm, malicious, pure ****ing evil ROTJ Palpy :csad:

I'm really enjoying it, not a die hard SW fans that knows all the crap about the expanded universe, but I really dig the storyline.

Did you even play half the Star Wars games that have been released recently? KotOR 2? Battlegrounds? Freaking Star Wars Lego?

Even if the price is pretty steep and even if the game is short I've still had a ton of fun with it. I haven't had any major problems with the game play and comparing this game to other Star Wars game is like comparing a Mustang to a Pinto.

I mean if you don't like the game that's fine, not everyone will but you have to admit that it's got some great features that really are head and shoulders above other SW games.

KOTOR2 and BattleFRONT are a hell of a lot better than this glitchy unpolished turd. This game is a collection of really great ideas with piss poor execution. They should have worked out the bugs before this game hit store shelves.

I suppose they could have a second one where the player takes control of Rahm Kota in the early days of the Rebellion.

Okay, we get it, you dont like the game and have gone out of your way to make that point on every other page of this thread. Anything positive to add, or are you just going to just bag on and compare this game to 2 year old RPG's and outdated SW games? Tired of it... :whatever:

im sure a billion other people have aske this question but does anyone know the all codes ?
thanks in advance :word:

dude who cares about freakin xplay get the game and grade it yourself and if you dont like it just say you dont like it.

Question - How do you go back and replay the Vader Kashyyk prologue level without starting a New Game??

Just finished the game and it was awesome IMO a little short but still a great game. But I have a question: Are there two endings? And how do you go about seeing them? I imagine it has something to do with the last boss fight, but how exactly?

And when you start the game over on the same record does it put you on the next difficulty level?

To change difficulties, just go under Options > Game > Difficulty. You can do that at any time.

Also, the game, I think, does not have two endings. It has been deemed as canon by George Lucas and, as such, can't have multiple outcomes.
