Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

Oh I see, so you get all your opinions from other people, that explains a lot.

Not quite, I formed my opinion when I purchased this dog turd at the midnight launch at my local gamestop and finished it the following day.

To change difficulties, just go under Options > Game > Difficulty. You can do that at any time.

Also, the game, I think, does not have two endings. It has been deemed as canon by George Lucas and, as such, can't have multiple outcomes.
Try Youtube buddy. It has two endings. One light side ending and one dark side ending. The light side ending is the canonical ending though.

No, there is definitely TWO endings. One being cannon, the other a "what if".

The cannon ending is fantastic, the non-canon, is, well its disturbing. You unlock one BAD ASS costume with the non-canon ending tho.

Just finished the game and it was awesome IMO a little short but still a great game. But I have a question: Are there two endings? And how do you go about seeing them? I imagine it has something to do with the last boss fight, but how exactly?

To get the diff endings, either choose to jump off the platform and battle Vader, or run straight and battle the Emperor. The Emperor fight is the canon ending.

Haha, i find that funny. Why purchase a game if you arent sure you are going to enjoy it? Do the words "demo" or "rent" mean anything??

dude where is this holocron!?!? LOL

Its located on Raxxis Prime and its after the 1st encounter with the Junk Titan. Once you get all the way across the junk chasam, hug the left side of the map and youll see some girder looking things sticking up from the ground, force push em, and then youll see the holocron. Youll have to move some stuff with the force, then you can make ur way to the holocron.

This game is so much fun. I just got it yesterday and I love the way they designed force powers (hence force unleashed lol) Picking up people and chucking them far off rocks

Well, I feel jipped.

Just finished the PS2 version and was fairly impressed. Especially the story. I'd love to see Starkiller in the upcoming show at some point.

Then I started reading reviews online, and was shocked to discover that I didn't get to play the full version of the game!

There is no fight with PROXY (or Darth Maul) at all, and as far as I can tell, you cannot choose the ending, just the dark ending automatically.

Whatever. Now that it's done, I'll trade it in for credit.

I finished God of War that same day. Damn, what an awesome game. So I think next I'll get God of War II and TNA Impact.

This sounds disappointing. It seemed like it was way overhyped anyway. I'll wait a few months and then get it on Amazon or eBay. That's how I got Halo 3 for $47.

Thanks a ton for the info. I thought that the camera angle before fighting the emperor was just weird. The costume is crazy.:up::D

I can't believe i have to fight Shaak Ti. I love her! I'm just gonna let her kick my ass a few times....

I should have rented the game and Ill admit that, but this game was supposed to be best Star Wars game ever made and I'll admit, if this game had been polished to a shine and had much better level design, it very well could have been, but the game was rushed that's and painfully obvious. The Force Unleashed is just another bad licensed game and further proof that Star Wars fanboys will defend absolutely every steaming pile of dog turds that George Lucas throws at them. The fans deserve better than this.

I have to say this game has met my expectations and surpassed them!! I'm loving playing through the game and can see myself replaying it again and again. The Bespin level in particular was GORGEOUS to look at!

is it true there are cheat codes to play as other characters? I mean play as in look like them.

You can unlock and play as Kota.

I have to say also, I've played through most of the game now and experienced no bugs so far.

Ah, thats ur problem, you bought into the hype, thats a big no-no and a mistake i rarely, if ever make. I actually wasnt expecting much more from this, than just a fun action game that tied the events of Episode III and IV together, nothing more, nothing less. It did that for me. I had a blast playing it and thought the story was fantastic.

I've played through it three times and have experienced at least ten.

Damn that sucks. The only bug iv noticed, was the first time thro, i got stuck in the walls of the sarlac, a bug that my buddy also experienced. Thats it tho, i havent experienced any more than that. I think my 360 is just strong in the force. I mean iv had it since launch and no RRoD or other problems.

Some of the ones I've experienced are:
  • Failure of the character to go through a force-opened door when the gap is clearly wide enough.
  • Enemies ignoring my character.
  • Force Push going the wrong way. This isn't a targeting issue, though. I'd be running forward and the blast would go behind me.
  • Getting stuck in a wall.
  • Falling through the floor slightly; mid-hip level.
  • Getting stuck "around" a rail prior to the confrontation with the Emperor.

Crazy stuff.

They aren't glitches, you're simply "Unleashing the Force" and as a result you alter reality. :o
