It's pretty much a hack and slash. The combo's are pissing me off too. Most annoying is the lightsaber. I cant ****ing cut up anyone with it. Mght as well call it a lightbatton. All you do with it is bonk people over the damn head with it.

Graphically the game is fine... Apart from all the ******ed force effects they felt they needed to add. The force is invisible. WHY DO I HAVE PURPLE BLOBBY WAVES BURSTING OUT FROM ME?!>?!?>

Force grip is fun though. The demo is very, very easy.

I guess the full game could be better... This just makes it look very poor and no where near to the first stuff they showed off for the game. I am a huge Jedi Knight fan though. You might have t o keep that in mind when reading these comments. JK Was a fantastic series and its a hard one to follow up.

I thought it was good. I had fun. We all knew there wouldn't be any dissmemberment, because that's now under the "M" rating at ESRB. I have no idea what you mean by the combos pissing you off. As for the Force effects....they overdid it, but it doesn't bother me. Force Grip is fun. Especially when you get used to it, because it does take some time getting used to it.

JK is awesome, I agree. This isn't exactly Jedi Knight though. As you said, they went with a hack and slash type of game and for what it is, it's good.

We also haven't seen anything yet. We fought some Proto-Rebels, some Stormtroopers and an AT-ST. All that in the first (as the apprentice) level of the game and with powers that won't be available to us in the same level of the final game.

I've been reading generally positive reviews of the demo from other forums. I'll still wait for full game reviews before i'm sold, but this nudges me in the direction of picking this one up.

I pretty much disagree with about everything you stated. The demo was fun, really fun. If you set aside your uber Star Wars geekness for a second you can see that(i mean complaining about the color of your force push???? c'mon). I would have prefered more authentic saber combat as well, but what is there is fun. The combos look cool and are easy to pull off. The force powers are just sick. Charging up your force push and letting loose on an unsuspecting(or suspecting) trooper is just awesome. Force grip is also crazy fun. Watching the troopers reach out for anything to grab on to before you send em flying is great. The demo was easy, but like DarkLord said, you've been kinda scaled up for the demo. The full game is gonna be great. Cant wait to see how the story unfolds.

Are you guys downloading it via PSN or Live? My download through Live didnt take any more than 15 min. It took me awhile to connect to Live, but once i started the DL, it flew.

LOVE IT!!! Can't wait for the game now!! One thing to remember guys, they're be plenty more unlockable combos in the game so I'm not too worried about repetitive hack and slash, this game gives you many options of how to dispose of enemies, I'm loving it!!
