Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

Considering that the PS2/Wii versions are made by a different studio than the PS3/360, arent the 2 different games or do they play exactly the same?

According to the Official Strategy Guide they play differently.

EDIT: Also I just found out that the Wii version has a "duel mode" that looks to be exclusive (at least for now).

I want to get this game but considering how short it is, I'm not so sure...

That doesnt matter. Its such a fantastic ride, it doesnt matter how short it is. Im towards the end and iv been playing for about 8 hours but the game has just been amazing. I just hit another twist in the story and that was just awesome. This is a great game.

Game length is an important factor when paying 60 bucks for a game.

Is the Wii version (besides the obvious controls) different than the 360 version story wise?

In addition to my stuff at the top of this page I do think that the story is a little different. There's different levels at least. Overall it's probably the same.

I caved and got the 360 version, played through the first level and a half... very enjoyable so far. If the Wii version turns out to be worth picking up I suppose I can always wait and trade the 360 version in for a used wii version later on.

According to GameInformer, 360/ps3 is superior to the Wii version. As it was rated higher.

What rating did this game get?? Wasn't it like 7.5?? God I want to play this game already, the wait is killing me.

Anyone pull down a StarFleet ship?? Like in the trailer?? Or is that just a cut scene?

Oh YES, that IS in the game and its BAD ASS!!!

I just finished this game and its hands down the best Star Wars experience iv had in video games. I think the story beats out Knights of the Old Reoublic. I mean it was great. It answers some questions that lead into Episode IV and the climax is fantastic. GREAT, GREAT game! If you are a Star Wars fan, you must play through this.

GREAT GAME!

As long as the game is really fun, it shouldnt matter as much. Uncharted: Drakes Fortune is one of the shortest games iv played in a long time and that game is amazing.

So is it worth buying or renting must know going to Best Buy

Man, if you are a Star Wars fan, purchase this game. Its a must, just like the films. There are unlockable costumes and its tough to completely max out ur character the first time thro so there is some replayability.

Id have to go with buy it. If yout that much unsure. Just rent it.

If you guys are already beating it and it's been out for two days, it's definatly a rent.

Someone beat it already? damn. Im stuck on level 3 still.

I still think Im going to rent it first. After playing the demo again and messing about a bit more it did seem more fun that the last time I had a go on it. I'll post my opinions after playing it tomorrow when its released over here

Its not a bad game, but to me some things could have been done alot better, I wish the force powers were handled more like Psi-Ops.

How do you mean? I thought the force powers were handled very well. I'm able to use them realtively easy with my gamepad, I can upgrade the ones I like more, my energy level automatically replenishes and the effects are stunning both visually and regarding gameplay. I really don't know how they could have improved.

No way I'm paying full price for a short ass game of this length. Not worth it...I hate the trend of stupidly short games being released last few years.

The PSP version has the duel mode as well for what it's worth.

I went to Best Buy and THEY DIDN'T HAVE IT!!!!!!!!!! Well i guess thats gods way of saying Don't buy that Buy Fracture!!!

Yeah, this game is a rent. I don't care how fun a game seems to be, it is still 60 bucks. You realize it is a waste of money after you become less excited and the fanboyism goes away. Give it a week to a month maximum, and then you realize you should have just rented it.
