I think you have to start a new game.That's what I did.The jedi temple is cool.It's a basic stage with a little bit of backtracking.I really enjoyed playing it.It's really beautiful to look at too.I mean the backgrounds and everything,scenery,etc.

Yea, i didnt care for the levels structure all that much, but it was cool looking and the boss battle was really interesting.

The DLC has you making your way to the Jedi Temple to uncover some information on your father. During the level you actually have to take the Jedi Trials and face your biggest inner demon, which in this situation, is you, as a Sith Lord. So the final boss battle has you battling yourself in the Sith Stalker armor. Its a really cool battle IMO. Along with the new level, you get 4 new skins, at least i think its 4, cant remember 100%

I think the level is worth it. I mean i really enjoyed the game so extending the experience was a no brainer for me.

I think it's definitely worth it.I like how in the beginning of the stage where you drop from the Rogue Shadow to your starting point.I thought that was cool.I'm trying to beat Kazdan Paratus with the Mace Windu skin on I think the difficulty is on Sith Lord or something.This bastard is cheezy man.Any tips on how to beat him?

As for a sequel...They did talk about one before TFU got released, but they said that it didn't have to be a sequel exactly. They said they could take the tech and gameplay elements and create a new story set in a different time period.

I'd like them to use the same engine and create a new game set outside the movies. Have both Dark and Light side powers, add more lightsaber styles/stances (dual lightsabers, double bladed and more than one single bladed lightsaber stance) each with it's own set of moves and of course multiplayer. Kinda like Jedi Knight, but with TFU Force powers and lightsaber combat.

I like your ideas, I'd also add a "build your character" and "pick or build a lightsaber" for the sequal.

The Force Unleashed Special Edition Coming?

According to GameFly, the popular video game renting site, this September will see the release of a special edition of the Lucasarts hit Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, which was released on multiple systems earlier this year. The special edition will apparently be available for the PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles, with a tentative release date of September 30, 2009. Remember, Star Wars is known for its special editions…

After contacting LucasArts for any comment, we were given this response from the Sr. PR Manager, Adam Kahn:

“…as always, we don’t comment on rumors and speculation.”

It doesn’t look like we’ll be told anything until an official announcement. We will keep an eye on this story, that’s for sure. Also, be aware that the Gamefly page that once held Star Wars: The Force Unleashed: Special Edition is no longer there…

Seems a little weird releasing a special edition to a game a year after. Some games do it, but do they think that the Jedi Temple level along with the skins are enough to make people buy it? Assuming of course they're only adding the available DLC.

What would make people buy it, is if it came with multiplayer. They had confirmed multiplayer, even though they never gave out any details, but at some point they stopped talking about it as if it never existed. IF they are, releasing a special edition, I could see them adding multiplayer. They have released many skins on LIVE and like I said, multiplayer was being worked on.

It would have to be more than just the Wii's duel mode and I'd prefer it if they at least added a new lightsaber stance, so that not all characters play like the apprentice.

If they release a special edition with all the DLC (even though I have all available DLC ), some behind the scenes stuff and multiplayer, I'd buy it again...
They could even release any new DLC that might come with the special edition and the added multiplayer mode(s) on LIVE, for the people that already have the game and are not interested in getting the special edition.

I guess we'll know what's going on by E3. So, would you be interested in a special edition?

You fight Vader because he ends up betraying you. You realize that what Vader has been doing all along is wrong and you vow to bring him down, thus turning to the light side. As for Darth Maul, its not really Darth Maul, its Proxy using a Darth Maul program, but its still a really cool battle. I mean he fights just like Maul.
