I remember reading a rumor similar to that, actually, only it involved Anakin during the duel with Obi-Wan. Pretty much, Obi-Wan had cut off all of his limbs, but that wasn't the end of the duel. Still fighting, Anakin uses the Force to summon a red lightsaber (that we would assume he built at one point) and fights Kenobi with his Anakin blade and his Vader blade.

I like what we got much better.

Poor Mace, let him scream. Anakin was a crazed teenager, with his hormones raging he wouldnt feel anything but Padme, i doubt he even noticed his arm was gone . Maybe Dooku's push knocked the air out of his lugs . Ok maybe Mace was so shocked from the pain after his arm got cut off he couldnt even scream .

I dunno, for me getting a limb cut off by a lightsaber seemed very painful. Look at the cantina dude after Ben chops him. He bleeds AND screams

The Season 2 of the Clone Wars starts very well. After Season 1 I kinda thought that these series are amazing. Heck, I'd even say that they are more enjoyable than most of the movies. And they are not even dumbed or kiddied down.

I mean, how often do you see a character being tortured to death in a freaking cartoon?

Bane is a badass, but to me he seems kinda forced. I mean, if he's so good that he can infiltrate the Jedi Temple and fool even a mighty Jedi like Anakin, how come we never heard of him before the series Heck, he seems like one of the most dangerous and deadly characters in the Galaxy, not counting the Force users.
But yeah, I can't deny that he is an enjoyable villain.

Damn, when was the last time we saw a dead body in a dark room or a someone being shocked until he died? I love the direction this shows going in. stations need to stop being so uptight with kids. They can handle stuff. And that will only mean the show can grow with them and stay with them instead of making it just a fling that will last for a couple years. That's why BTAS has endured so long.

The bounty hunters have not really been a focus of the movies and EU besides the Fett's. Hell before this show came about I had no idea the clones had names of any kind. Unlike a movie that has to get things moving in a hurry a tv show can focus on the little characters.
