I kinda want to see this just to see this Ziro the Hutt everyone's talking about. In my head, I'm picturing Jabba the Hutt with "Bruce the performance artist" from Family Guy's voice.

Kinda like that, except worse. If you've ever seen 'Capote' with Phillip Seymour Hoffman, think his voice in that movie.

Has anyone seen 'Blue Harvest'? It's basically 'A New Hope' done in Family Guy. It's brilliant. Better than Clone Wars.

It's NOT a bad movie, IMO, I thought it was great, but not without flaws. What I'm getting is what you and I are doing is discussing... but the fools that come in just to post "IT SUCKED" are doing nothing but making themselves look idiotic. Maybe I'm the only one that it annoys.

Well I have been there before, I enjoyed Hitman (despite the battering it took from Fox), but it is a bad movie. I enjoyed SM3, but is a bad movie. A lot of enjoyable movies are bad, as long as you enjoy them that's all that matters though.

I suppose CW is enjoyable to some people, but it's certainly not good.

I've seen it on the first day..and clone wars did kinda Suck....so as for the "all these idiots".... still refers to me.. since i felt like one after seeing this

But maybe i'm being too hard on it...i bet if i watched it on TV, and it was only 20 minutes..i might have liked it..maybe....but i still think it could have been a little... smarter and not so elementary...

Here's how I look at it: I never expected it to match the live action movies, but for what it was, I enjoyed it quite a bit. I DO agree that it could've taken itself a little more seriously, and not tried to insert so much humor; but overall, it's not nearly as bad as most people make it out to be. My advice is to read the novel... it has what the movie doesn't.

normally I'd go into a review/rant, but chances are I wouldn't be saying anything new. So I'll put it in these few simple phrases:

I'm better off watching Ryan vs Dorkman on youtube for an hour and a half.

I'd rather watch a three hour kennedy-animated tiny toons episode. Sure the animation sucks, but at least the writing's good.

no, ur not the only one that gets annoyed by that, but personally at this point i just focus on looking past it. I know i wont change anyone's mind about it, and i know what i enjoy and what i dont. Ppl who didnt like this are entitled not to like it, but those of us that enjoyed it are entitled to that aswell. I say just agree to disagree and focus on the more productive discussions that do pop up t:

I actually started reading the novel for this, so i'll let u know what i think after. I know that novels tend to expand on what we see on the screen. For me this was eye opening with ROTS. When i read that novel i found it added to the movie in a very positive way, and made me enjoy it even more

Last night, I saw the fan film "Star Wars Revelations." While the acting was typical fan film wood, it had pretty impressive production values and special effects. If you feel like you got gipped with Clone Wars, or you simply decided to stay home after hearing how awful it was, I suggest giving it a download it if. I'm not saying it can scratch your Star Wars itch the same way the real movies can, but it's a pretty admirable effort, and that alone puts it head and shoulders over TCW IMHO.

I...............wouldn't agree with that. Revelations is on par with the Holiday Special. If you're at all curious about the film, do yourself a favor and just search youtube for the shipyard sequence (I think someone posted it by itself). It's the only good part of the film and this is simply due to the effects. Everything else is pretty awful.

Great post. Nothing wrong with liking a bad movie, as long as you can objectively step back and admit "yeah, it's really not very good."

That's not any better, because Ziro the Hutt is argueably even more irritating than Jar Jar Binks. To say that Clone Wars is as bad as the prequels is one thing, but to actually claim it's better is absolutely ridiculous. It has everything that made the prequels bad and more, but barely has any of what made them good.
