We're mad at idiots destroying the city in which they live because they have a flimsy excuse to do so. It's not about the cops now, it's about ****heads going on a rampage.
Boy that mayor really isn't doing a great job right now.
Fair, I don't agree with the destruction of the property but can you point out the flimsy excuse for me please?
Because they just want to destroy things and loot the city? I can't imagine most of the people doing this have any reason for doing so beyond 'I'm one of thousands looting everything. They won't catch me. I can do what I want." A very small amount of them likely have a good grievance against the city and the police to be this angry but for the rest it's just an excuse to act like animals.
And how the **** does looting liquor stores and burning down a seniors centre have anything to do with protesting someones death? The only excuse for any of that is that they wanted to because they are *******s.
Gray's the only one I've heard of.
You all are more mad at the people for destroying public property than you all are mad at the police for killing civilians.
Cops kill an unarmed person (I want to say black, but I'm just gonna say "person" to spare myself the "what about other races that are killed by the police?" questions) and all over the board its "eh, it was an accident" "its not a race thing" "moving on" but the minute a store gets looted now everyone wants to speak up.
I do not agree with the looting at all but that's the least of the worries at hand.
Was it confirmed that the senior center was because of the rioting? I read it turned out that it wasn't related and was due to construction work but I could be mistaken. If you can show me a link, that'd be great (just to clear it up).
What about the "two wrongs don't make a right!"
Hey, a 2 year old baby girl was gunned down in my city by a drive by shooting, where are all of the protests against a truly innocent little girl falling victim to senseless violence????? Huh?? Why riot over an idiot who has a rap sheet, but not riot for the little baby getting killed? It's just as much the police fault as it is the nut job that pulled the trigger, due to them not wanting to get more involved with the gang violence.

Why does this precious Black life not matter as much as the guy getting gunned down by the police????? Doesn't sell enough headlines for the papers or media? Doesn't fit certain people's agendas???
I watched the news last night and they insinuated that it was directly caused by rioters but haven't said anything since.
If you want protests then why don't you go out there and organize them instead of asking where they are, especially if you care so much about the child' life? Go ask your police what they are doing to find the guys who did it
I'm not saying her death is not important. It's definitely something to be upset about. So go do something about it. Here's your chance to do a peaceful protest against violence.

What makes you think I haven't. The local pastor is trying to get a gathering, but not too many people showed up. Like I said, it's not fitting their agenda.
You know, it seems like the young, black community turns to violence when these things happen. They are an insult to all their relatives that stood peacefully and let their peaceful protests speak more clearly than all the violence and destruction they're committing.
Not every suspect killed has proven to be a violent offender or a danger to the public. Not every interaction may necessarily needed lethal force depending on how the situation is approached. Police officers are human beings but so are suspects and innocent until proven guilty cuts both ways.
Violence in the communities as well as police relations need to be addressed. The breakdown between the police and some of these communities is what isn't improving things.
