Superman Returns Stereoscopic Superman Returns One-Sheet!

Still seeing earth pop out, not Superman!!! Something must be freakishly wrong with me, I looked on google for other images and I see those fine, but when I come back here I keep getting the same backwards image, earth coming out at me and Supes sunk down in the background...........must be losing my mind LOL

Must be your Super-3D vision kicking in...

Are you sure you're not from Krypton? ;)

For anyone who's having trouble seeing the poster, it's as simple as I've described before:

1. Cross your eyes, till you see a 3rd poster in the middle.

2. Slowly let your eyes focus on that 3rd poster (without losing it!) so that you see Superman pop out.

I hope that helps.

PS - I can't see the patterned ones myself! That's why I like stereoscopics - no sticking up your dang index finger and going out of focus and then moving that finger around until... nothing happens!

You don't need to do all that finger stuff with the patterned ones. You just look "though" the page (so it's blurry) until you start to see some depth, then you can focus on it.

I'm sure these photo types (they're both stereoscopic) are exactly the same thing, same method, but I just have trouble getting them to overlap and "lock" together. It may be something to do with how large it is the larger the picture is the more you have to cross your eyes so they completely overlap, or something - I'm gonna try it with the picture smaller.

Again, for you guys who can do this - how far away are your eyes from the screen? For that matter, what are your screen sized and resolutions?

Ah-HA!

Within about 30 seconds of my last post I tried it with the image at 60% size and could do it easily - just as easy as I can with patterned ones and using exactly the same method.

My problem is that I can only do it by putting my eyes right up to the image to get the overlap to lock-on, then I can slowly draw back to a greater distance and focus on it. If the image is too big to start with, I can't get the overlap to lock-on at all - my eyes are just the wrong distance apart.

But it IS backward, for me anyway. Superman is sunk-in to the picture, the earth pops out. Here's a "corrected" version if anyone else is getting the depth reversed, and also the smaller one that I can actually get it to work with.

Cool! Yeah now the depth seems to be correct for me when I look at the smaller one, but now I can't see the big one, think my eyes must be too tired.

hell yeah that's much better now. amazing

sweet. The first time I saw this I thought it was joke. Finally got it to work.
