The young lady in question... Was this a necessary move for her on any level? She is certainly not turning to porn out of financial desperation or because she's aspiring to other things in entertainment and thinks porn is a stepping stone.

Dont really see a problem, people are still way too close minded when it comes to sex and all that.
I dont see why, i mean sure the feet stuff, pee...animals and so on is creepy as hell to me...but still, sex is a rather natural thing.

People who are open in their sexuality and proud of their bodies, using them to express themself and earn money.
Its nothing really that weird...its 2020, porn or sex as business shouldnt be seen as something alien.

Pornography has for sure become more mainstream the last 30 years.

The money the industry makes has decreased not because of a slide in consumption but more due to the ubiquity of piracy and (illegal) streaming sites.

Despite that it still generates billions.

So... Maybe I could see a 23 year old today just looking at it like any other career.

Again though... Spielberg's daughter? What could she get from being a pornstar she doesn't already have or could get, and yes, that includes tons of sex.

I literally picked up my phone to check out headlines. It was the third thing listed and I checked to see if it was true and it was everywhere.

Okay... There's obviously a reality controlling machine that's breaking down and we need to find it and hope it's still under warranty.

It’s not exactly something you go into for self expression and there’s a lot of regret by many people who spent their younger years being exploited in this. If you think Hollywood ruins people psychologically, you can imagine what the porn business does.

I doubt she’ll last long in this until some kind of breakdown.

It’s not exactly something you go into for self expression and there’s a lot of regret by many people who spent their younger years being exploited in this. If you think Hollywood ruins people psychologically, you can imagine what the porn business does.

I doubt she’ll last long in this until some kind of breakdown.

And then you read what other actresses said who were/are proud...its the same with musicans and actors...some regret it some dont.

Sure its a god awful business in many corners, but its also at the same time not as bad anymore.
Actresses have more options than ever with the internet, stuff like "onlyfans" and so on.

Its why im so keen for people to be more open and "understanding" to people who decide that sex work is the way...acting like those people are some outsiders you better not even look at or so, its not helping anything.
Sure the porn industry is still quite a mess, but it wont get better if people treat it and the people in it like some weirdos.
Its simply Adult entertainment and people in it should get the same respect as anybody.

Hey if that's what she wants to do on you go, seems an odd choice for someone from her background though. A lot of the females you see seem to come from either really oppressive, controlling, abusive or religious families when I have heard them talk about it.

Sex work seems awfully hard (tee hee!), and there are a lot of folks who fall into it out of desperation rather than a true love of the craft. But that describes a not insignificant number of my fellow wage slaves. She's working as a solo act, so hopefully Ms. Spielberg will be avoiding some of the seamier aspects of the industry.

Every porn performer makes me wonder what kind of home they came from, because half of them were more than likely sexually abused or experienced some kind of trauma. But then again, I'm also beginning to learn that no matter what upbringing they had, people are going to be who they want to be.

The age gap is definitely a red flag on top of another red flag. Was she "nudged" into this line of work by a controlling boyfriend? Hopefully Mikaela is the one making this non traditional career choice for herself.
