One of the first threads I have ever made but it is worth it when it comes to Stray Bullets. Previous run was in mid 90s, but after a hiatus a new run of the series just returned with a new #1 distributed by image. Any fans of David Lapham's gripping series new or old??

Stray Bullets #2 comes out tomorrow. If you did not have a chance to read the new #1, I highly recommend it!

Dude, I love Stray Bullets. Bought and downloaded all 41 issues, plus first issue of Killers on comiXology. I was lucky in that I never had to endure the huge waits between issues.

Isnt it great? These first two issues feel just like Lapham never left. Was a little worried it would feel different with the image distribution, but it feels like a smooth transition to just another arc from the previous run.

It's a shame Stray Bullets doesn't get more attention, because it's far superior to other, more acclaimed crime pulp series like Sin City. I guess it's our job to spread the word.

My favorite character is the quiet, muscle-bound dude with the glasses, Monster. He's like a force of nature. You're either rooting for him or rooting against him, depending on the story and the characters he's against.

I mean its won Eisner awards, and the new issues have both been on the top rated issues the weeks on they've been released. It is just amazing, I have told friends about it. With it now being an image title im pretty sure it will get alot more recognition.

And I agree with you about Monster. The same could be said about almost every character in the series, every issue I have a new favorite character.
