Street Fighter Alpha coming to PS3/PSP?

It looks like Street Fighter Alpha will be making its way to both PlayStation 3 and PSP.

The retro fighter has been discovered on the ESRB Game Ratings website with PS3 and PSP both listed as platforms, and the ESRB website is usually a solid precursor for games that have yet to be announced.

Having appeared on the original PSOne, in all likelihood this title will be available at the PlayStation store at a cheapie price.

The original reception for Street Fighter Alpha was not all warm and cuddly. In fact, Wikipedia reports that some of the producers and programmers have lamented that the sequel, Street Fighter Alpha 2 was the game they had wished the original to be.

Previous platforms SFA has appeared on include: Arcade, Game Boy Color, PS1, PS2, Sega Saturn, Windows, and Capcom CPS Changer

I don't have Street Fighter Alpha 3 for PSP because I have no-one to play it with since I'm the only one in my family with a PSP.

I need to convince that older brother of mine to buy one!

Well it's nicve that it's coming, but was the PS1 version equal to the arcade version or was it missing frames etc?

I dunno... The PS1 Metal Slug port was hardly "arcade perfect..." But that was SNK, not Capcom.
