It was just a blatant dig at Microsoft, nothing more.not the best comment to put out there considering they have their own share of timed exclusives.

Capcom have outlined the first Street Fighter V beta, which will kick off on July 23rd for PlayStation 4 users. The beta will begin at 6:00 pm PST and will last five days.
The primary purpose of the beta, Capcom say, is to test Street Fighter Vs online code. Data received from the test will help improve the net code in the final game. All six characters that have been revealed so far will be playable, although only four will be available initially. (Cammy and Birdie will be added on Saturday, July 25th.)
More details on the Street Fighter V beta can be found here.

Capcom has provided a full breakdown of the upcoming Street Fighter V beta.
As previously announced, the first beta will start on July 23 exclusively for PlayStation 4 owners. A PC beta is planned for the fall. For details on how to gain access to the beta, read this post.
Get the outline below.
CharactersStreet Fighter V is due out for PlayStation 4 and PC in spring 2016.
Throughout the course of the beta, all six characters will be available. This means that players will be able try out all the characters that were present on the E3 build. To set expectations clearly, the beta will roll out with four characters playable immediately, with Birdie and Cammy becoming playable on Saturday, July 25. The reason for their delayed release is that in addition to testing out the net code, were also testing out our new content delivery system.
Gameplay Flow
When players boot the game up and go past the start screen, theyll be taken to the character select screen.
Players should choose the character they would like to fight others with, as they will not be able to select a different character before heading into battle.
Once they select their character, players will be placed into training mode while an opponent is found. Upon finding an opponent, players will be transported back to the versus screen and begin their match shortly thereafter.
After the match is complete, players will then be brought back to the Grid where they will go back into queue for the next match.
Unfortunately there will be no local versus mode during this beta. Once again, the primary purpose of this beta is to test the online functionality.
Stages
While players are awaiting their match, theyll be training in the Grid. Versus matches will take place in either the Bustling Side Street (China), Terminal Station (London) or in the brand new stage the Forgotten Waterfall. Heres a look at what the Forgotten Waterfall looks like.
Look familiar? Maybe youve seen the top of it in a previous Street Fighter. Each of the stages has been inspired by various locales throughout the world with the Forgotten Waterfalls inspiration being directly pulled from New Zealand.
PlayStation 3 Stick Functionality
At this moment in time were currently evaluating PS3 joystick and controller functionality for the final product. That said, PS3 joysticks and controllers will not work for this beta.
Now that you know what to expect, players should read up on how the new battle systems work to get ready for battle. For those interested in signing up for the beta, please read the instructions below and follow those which pertain to your region.

Earlier today, Capcom’s Yoshinori Ono hinted that a Brazilian character would be revealed soon for Street Fighter V. This could be Blanka, Sean, or a new character entirely, but we’ve got a different piece of news to share.
Sources have confirmed to Siliconera that Alex and Urien from Street Fighter III will be playable characters in Street Fighter V as well. Look out for the two to be announced at some point in the future.

Yeah, but since the game is 3D now, maybe doing it like in IV, but with bruises, blood and stuff. You mean the post fight win/loss screens? Those were cool. New Generation was my favorite.

Earlier, Siliconera reported that Alex and Urien from Street Fighter III would be part of the playable roster in Street Fighter V. Now, we can confirm two more characters: Karin Kanzuki and R. Mika from the Alpha series.
Karin made her first appearance in a Street Fighter spin-off manga starring Sakura. She made her playable debut in Street Fighter Alpha 3, and was then included in Capcom Fighting Evolution as well.
Meanwhile, R. Mika, too, made her first appearance in Street Fighter Alpha 3. She hasnt been featured in any of Capcoms fighters following that game.
Look out for Karin and Mika to be revealed for Street Fighter V at some point in the future.
Note: Karin artwork from Street Fighter Alpha 3.
