i watched Street fighter 2 and it was awsome....t:
i liked the last part of it where thatone girl is in the hospital and they end up calling her friend and he rushes over to see her and thought she was dead but she suprised him....it was kool...

Street fighter 2 may be mediocre, but Street Fighter Alpha was amazing.

Alpha generations, on the other hand, was horrid.

Alpha generations, on the other hand, was horrid.

the animation in alpha was good but the overall story was poor...

it was also a shame they had to fabricate the last dude for ryu to fight against. as well as his whole brother storyline...

Because no matter how many times i watch it, I just feel the nostalgia aspect of it doesn't make up for the weak plot of vega capturing soldiers and wanting to make them liuetenants...

and i also can't get over how bad ryu came off fight wise. I always envisioned him as being close to perfect just like in alpha and in street fighter he's pretty average...

seeing chun li naked in the shower doesn't help either

I thought Alpha was just over the top, seeing Ryu kick that guy 2-3 times and suddenly the clothes rip apart. And the entire Hadoken action. I thought he was a pretty good fighter in the first Movie. Sure, he struggled a moment at the beginning when he fought Fei Long, but he totally kicked his ass in the end.

And Bison capturing Street Fighters may not be the best plot, but I prefer it to a crazy scientist capturing street fighters and extracting their data or whatever.

i never said alpha was better, i just said it looked better animated and perhaps showcased ryu better as a fighting force to be reckoned with.

It's hard to narrow down 1 favorite. Depending on the mood I'm in, I always choose a different one when playing a game.

But my main 3 would be Vega, Ryu and Guy.

By "Vega", do you mean the Japanese version of M.Bison or the Spanish masked psychopath...?

Spanish masked Psychopath. I know that in Japan he's called Balrog, but I actually like the name change. I think it suites him much better.
