To help usher in the return/relaunch of DC's Justice League of America with next week's special issue #0, and August's Justice League of America #1, writer Brad Meltzer has gone craz...umm, we mean has graciously agreed to answer questions about the League's return from Newsarama readers.


That's right, if YOU have a Justice League question, now is your chance to ask the bestselling author and comics writer yourself.

To help kick things off, the following is a brief preview of Justice League #1. Maybe it will spur a question or two...

As always, in order for this to work, there are a few guidelines and ground rules:
- Brief questions requiring brief responses will have the best shot at being answered.
- Newsarama will be sending appropriate questions to Brad. Long comments or suggestions without a question will not be included.
- Brad has made it clear his first story arc is about the formation of the new League roster. If your question is about team membership, you best make it a darn clever one... Other than that, have fun!

damn, theres some cringe worthy moments in benes' art. that one shot of batman is pretty atrocious. i hate it when artists make up non existant muscles to make things look "bad ass" due to the fact that they are completely incapable of drawing appropriate anatomy.

I have to agree.

I think Jim Lee and his colorist on Batman: Hush has been the only team that can make Batman look good in 'light blue'.

I prefer his cowl to look either dark blue or grey (Even though in theory, his cowl is black but the blue is just an artistic merit depending on the artist).

im not too jazzed up about the art either... but i do have a question for BM!
Why don't you "get" Martian Manhunter? He has always been the very foundation of the League and a great counter balance for each member of the trinity... so why exclude him now?

By the way, the art is pretty bad on Batman. Superman is a little bit better, but why is his \S/ shiny? ANd, this is probably the worst way to put a team together ever.

I think looking at pictures and Batman going "Ooo mama like!" When he sees Captain Marvel is really stupid.

I'm really not digging on Benes' art in those sample pages. I remember him being better on BoP. It looks like he's trying to throw too much detail in there, like what Hitch did in Moon Knight. Keep it simple, don't throw too much in there.
