Why does the JLA have "America" in its title?

I don't think its offensive at all but it would probably make more sense if they were just called the Justice League

Doesn't matter that much though

why cant they have america in the title, by the way? why is that such an offensive thing?

I don't think it's offensive. It's just kinda, archaic. And "Justice League" just sounds cooler.

It's not really a big deal, I don't see how anyone can get too hung up on it.

Maybe that's why Generation Lost has been so much better than JLA. Maybe they're trying to phase out the "of America" title by making it utterly craptastic so people will flock to the upcoming Justice League International. "JLI" is a cooler acronym, too. :oldrazz:

I watch BBC all the time. They are bigger than the UK. Let's change the title to the WBC.

Sounds like a women's sports league, but I'd be cool with that. Makes a lot more sense to me than "BBC America."
