subscribed threads

For some reason, my subscription list keeps saying I subscribed to all these threads that I never subscribed for. However, I did post in them.

Why does it just take me posting to be subscribed to it?

Go into your User CP and change your settings.
You have it set to subscribe if you post in the thread...from what it sounds like
