they didn't show Kim at all during the game, so I dont mind seeing her after the game is over....Reggie is going to beat that up tonight

Basketball and Football are two different games, my friend.

You are correct. Basketball is actually the one where rings matter more. You know why? Because an individual player has more control over a basketball game than a football game. It's 5 on 5 instead of 11 on 11. Manning should be regarded for his understanding of how to break down a defense more than anything else. Throw the stats out the window. He is an offensive coordinator on the field. I know you hate the guy, but don't let that get in the way of objectively analyzing his ability as a football player.

Great Super Bowl for the third time in a row.

I would like to congratulate

Alex The Great, Ben Akers, BlackLantern, bunk, Byrd Man, CELTICPRED, cyborg ninja 14, Darthphere, El_Citrus, Franklin Richards, Jesster32388, kane9321, KBX, Matt, MessiahDecoy123, Mister J, NewYorkSpider, omid17, Poeman, POWdER-man, RAMORE, signalman, Spider-Fan, SsM, That-Guy, The Guardian, The Incredible Hulk, Themanofbat, Venom'sDad, and myself for picking New Orleans in our poll :yay:

Peyton will pass Marino and maybe Farve's records when all is said and done, and he has the ring. So he is basically a better Farve and Marino put together so he will probably be in the top five all time. Someone like Big Ben, if he doesn't improve his consistency dramatically, may miss out on the HOF. Brees will get in with this win. McNabb is on the outside looking in.

QB HOF's of 2000

Brady
Manning
Farve
Warner
Brees

Compared to the 90's guys...

Elway
Young
Aikman
Marino
Kelly

My 2010's projections

Big Ben
Rivers
Romo
Eli
Rogers???

Obviously none of those 2010's are guaranteed of anything.

I didn't pick til this morning and I was watching an interview with Drew Brees and figured what the hell, they might pull it off

for 2010's add Sanchez to that list

Roger Staubach?

Manning is easily a Top 5 QB right now.

Like I said, the stats will be broken, the commercials forgotten and Peyton's legacy will be one and done. Manning is not a top 5 til he gets the rings to back it up.

but having a SB ring means a lot...look at guys like Tiki Barber and Cris Carter, if you see them on TV, you can tell that it burns their ass that they don't have a ring...especially Tiki because they won the year after he "retired"

Eli and Romo will never make hall of fame.

True, true, but it is rather embarrasing that Peyton Manning has as many rings as his younger brother.

well Eli has a ring and Romo doesn't...Romo is the Dbag, Eli is just a big dork but hardly a *****ebag

He's a choker, no doubt about it. But he still knows more about playing QB than a guy like Staubach ever thought about knowing on the matter. Manning runs a spread offense against the best and brightest in the league. They know exactly what is coming and they still can't stop him. There is no play action BS to make it easier on the QB like there is in a more traditional run-based offense.

Yeah. I guess he does know more about choking than Staubach.

I have to agree with Matt here. Manning hasn't entered the top 5 yet.
