Yeah..about that, id have totally picked wrong

Browns/Lions Super Bowl? I wouldn't buy that for a dollar

When is the 2010 thread going to open...I am sick of talking about the Saints. Who Dat was killed like 2 weeks ago. Can we back to discussing the Patriots now?

Some buddies of mine and I were having a discussion during the bowl...Im curious to see some of yalls predictions, particuarly norms or srufdui's.

What do you think their individual stat lines would look like for a single season if Peyton Manning and Randy Moss ever play/played a full year together?

My friend, who is a Colts fan, thinks Moss would crush his 2007 record.

Actually, yes. Just on the other side of the ball.

Defenses wasnt the dude shredding secondaries to get em into field goal range to win the big game on multiple occasions :o

Mannings talent was more offense based while Bradys was always more defense based, but yeah, the sb winning Pats NEVER had more talent than the Colts. Ok, well in 2004, it was close. But that was it. Most of the Patriot players on defense & offense havent played so hot outside fo New England.

I told Poeman to wait a little while before opening it. Let the Super Bowl discussion last for a couple days. This will keep you happy for those few days.

AFC Champions

2004 - Patriots
2005 - Steelers
2006 - Colts
2007 - Patriots
2008 - Steelers
2009 - Colts
2010 - Patriots?

I don't understand Norm sometimes, but I guess that's just part of it all

^That is the most direct I have ever seen you be. You going serious on us, boy?

Well, for those looking ahead to 2010, some key games to highlight next year:

Steelers @ Saints (Probably the Thursday opener)

Bears @ Giants (Heard rumblings that this might be the first Sunday Night game, opening of the new venue, they might take a divisional foe as well)

Colts @ Pats (Pats host them for the first time in four years)

Chargers @ Colts (Always playoff implications with this matchup)

Thanksgiving

-NE/NYJ @ Det (Probably the Pats to keep people in tune)
-Wash/Chic @ Dallas (They like matching up the scrubs against Big D on Turkey Day. Unfortunately, Dallas will have no scrubs on what will be a brutal schedule)

Baltimore @ Jets (Hopefully Reed doesn't retire yet or he'll miss a fun one)

Dallas/NYG @ Colts (These matchups only come around once every four years)

Saints @ Dallas (Bad blood brewing here)

Giants/Dallas @ Packers (Playoff implications abound)

2010 - Patriots?

Haha. Thats kind fo pathetic on the rest fo the AFC's part.

The NFL HAS to go Sanchez v. Stafford on Thanksgiving. Its the best matchup by far for Detroits Thanksgiving.

Chicago v. Dallas would be interesting since I expect great things from Mike Martz.

It's been those three teams since 2004. Hopefully San Diego emerges, but it's safe to say one of those three teams will probably represent the AFC in next year's Super Bowl.

I see no reason why the Colts don't get back to another AFC Championship. Outside of a new JETS type run out of a team on the verge, mostly the Texans, if the same dogs are in the race again, I would fully expect a rematch of SB 44.

As for the Pats, all of Belicheats luietenants have left the ship..Randy will get bored if they don't go 5,6-0. The Jets might take that division again.

Patriots-Jets should be first Sunday nighter.

Super Bowl curse?

The last time a Super Bowl loser made it back there was the 93-94 Bills. They actually did it 4 years in a row. :o

I honestly expect the Patriots to emerge as the best team in the AFC again.
