That's actually kind of an interesting match-up, in that both characters are essentially limited in power by individual attitude.

I mean I don't know the extent to which they've ever written him this way, but given that the ring's strength being fueled by willpower, it would at least stand to reason that the more intent Hal is on kicking the Hulk's ass, the more he'd be able to do so.
