In the new movie, Jason is Clark and Lois' son. In the comics, Mxy showed Lois and Clark being able to have children. They had a possible future daughter. What I want to know, is why they only have one child in that comic? And will they have more then? Will Lois and Clark have more children in the new movies? One child, c'mon, you need a few more than that. Anyone agree?

How are any of us supposed to know how many kids they may or may not ever have in the comics and/or movies?

Personally, I'd rather they don't have kids at all.

Why not? Clark has no living biological relatives, why not give him some, plus, he would be a great father.

unless you count Kara Zor-El.

superman can't protect the world, be a husband, and then be a father. which one woudl he value more? would he rather take his sick kid to the hospital, or stop a plane from crashing?

He could find a way to do both, or for a new storyline, he would have to live with the guilt. I thought Kara-Zor-El wasn't related to Superman anymore?

Kara is super-man cousin, and i was useing an example of the kid getting sick. The kid in general gives superman to many things to worry about, Lois, a kid, and metropolis/world. Will he spend more time as superman, or spend more time with his kid?

Exactly my point, he will have to juggle his time. He finds a way to be a husband, and I'm sure he hangs out with his friends when he gets the chance. It was hard for him the first few years of being Superman, but he has learned to juggle both identities. Also, how long was Clark at the Planet b4 he and Lois married? Because in the comics he is 34 or 35 right? I think they got married when he was 31 or 32.

sounds about right to me. in DC time I believe Superman appeared roughly 12 years ago at which point he was in his early to mid twenties.
