The other day, my supervisor told me he got a new computer. As soon as he said he dropped over $2000 on it, I asked "Was it a Mac?" Apple's electronics are like designer jeans-- you pay for the brand name.

Make friends with someone who's an Apple fanboy, because they'll likely ditch their still perfectly-usable Mac for the latest and greatest.

That's how I got my Macbook Pro, through my bf. (To be fair, it was an interesting shuffle that eventually ended up with me getting a used Pro and him getting a brand new one after the one he was using went kaput.) I was gonna pay him for it too but he couldn't think of a good Christmas/birthday present for me so I said the Macbook would do.

Although I am thinking of taking up my bf's old iPhone because even though my iPod Touch is nice, it doesn't come with a camera.
