Superman in the Marvel Universe (a purely theoretical discussion)

Considering that the thread is "purely theoretical", I think the likelihood of it happening is pretty moot for discussion. Clearly, the Siegel/Shuster copyright plus Time Warner is the most financially viable situation and where I ultimately expect Superman to end up. The only way Superman ends up elsewhere is if the heirs totally ignore financial realities or someone else makes a reckless offer for the rights.

Marvelman/Miracleman probably has more value to Marvel based on what they potentially could get to use.

I was never impressed with Marvel's Sentry. The power of a million exploding suns, but yet he had trouble saving the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier from falling out of the sky (even with the help of Wonder Man and Ms. Marvel) and couldn't defeat Hercules. If Clark Kent were in the Marvel Universe and he had to fight Sentry, I'm putting my money on Superman.

Also add the fact that Superman will enter publiuc domain in about 20 years.
