That was hilarious! "Nuclear Man" looked like a groovy Frankenstein. I'm guessing this was the character before the one we got in the final cut? Either way, it sucks. I hate to make fun of Chris, but I'm sure he had to be a part of these character designs because IV was pretty much his story.
That is Nuclear Man #1. The one that is in the theaterical version is Nuclear Man #2. Watch it and look for these scenes. That girl that is in that scene, well you do see her in the theaterical version. Why is she not surprise by Superman? They look like the seen each other before. Ok, another scene when Lex and Lenny are working in darkness with the light shinning just on them. The goop that Lex has, that is from Nuclear Man #1. Superman knock Nuclear Man #1 into a light pole so hard it turn him into the goop that Lex has in that scene with Lenny. Nuclear Man #1 was unstable. Ok, when Nuclear Man #2 arrives, Why isn't Lex surprise by his presents? Could it be that there was another Nuclear Man?

The movie was good but it didn't have a great budget as the other movies. That is why the movie bomb. It had very poor special effects.
Personally, I am glad that we do get to see the famous scene and also glad that is isn't part of the movie as well. That scene has been talked about for years. Only clues and photos of it has appear but we do get to see it like it or not. Yes, it may made the movie worst but finally we see what it looks like. I think that it should of been out of the light for years but not part of the movie itself. They did the right choice of putting it in the deleted scenes.
Only two scenes has been seen with the movie and they are:
Superman saves Moscow from a nuclear bomb, which Nuclear Man ignited.
A girl is saved by Superman during a tornado created by Nuclear Man.
They was shown on TBS back in the late 80s and early 90s. Which I think they are part of the deleted scenes as well.
