World Superman VS. Brainiac ,tonite on cartoon network

That ending sounded so much like a superfriends episode

guess who just saved $20!

I gotta say.....this is kinda like SUPERMAN IV.

The only good thing about it was Superman. I mean, that's it.

Everything, blew big time.

Yeah, thank God I didn't buy this piece of crap.

MYSTERY OF THE BATWOMAN was 10x better.....and that wasn't even good.

At least Batwoman didn't insult my intelligence

let this be a memo to Warner Bros. Don't make another DCAU DTV without Timm's involvment, only suffering awaits

The production was written, produced, and directed by chimps. That would be the only way to explain that crap.

I just want to take this time to thank Cartoon Network for saving me the $15-$20 I would have spent on this. Thank you very much.

What a disappointment.
I missed Clancy Brown and Corey Burton as Lex and Brainiac.
Powers Boothe and Lance Hendricksen were awful.
We just saw Gene Hackman's Lex animated.. yuck!:down :down :(

No... we saw something worse. :(

This just goes to show me where to put my assumptions. I thought that the Superman animated movie would be good and it was wretched. I thought the Ultimate Avengers would be horrible, but I really liked it.

OK, 20 minutes in...THIS MOVIE BLOWS! Tim Daly is the only positive thing about this mess so far.
I miss the old S:TAS incarnation. :(

edit: I should mention Dana Delany as Lois being a plus too, but this movie still blows.

and that's just being nice, the lack of Andrea Romano's directing shows in the performances

'sigh',I hate to say it,but it SUCKED big time, only good thing about it was superman.WTF did they do to lex??. sheesh.

When will they air the movie again?

True... I liked Hackman better. Lex and Mercy were both way too campy!

It looks like they went with an approach that may be similar to what we see in SR, to get an earlier idea of it.

I can't blame Clancy Brown for being unavailable. This is about as cheesy as the 70's camp aspects of the Superman films, and the Superfriends. It's a disgrace to everything that the Timm/Dini DCAU did to bring back credibility with the DC heroes.

To put it tactifully, they made Luthor much more effeminate than he should be, and like Dread stated, with the exception of the characters themselves and the animation models, this was nothing like what we were used to in the DCAU. Why did they change something that was not broken? To try and keep in line with the way the characters are going to be in SR?
