there both class 100 of course but if i had to choose i say gladiator takes out supes. but yes he would have some work to do.

superman is a big pusssy in the cartoon series. i dont know if you saw that war world episode where that little guy was knocking the crap out of supes. hulk or juggernaut would have knocked out that guy for good and you saw what gladiator did to juggy wich was hard to believe so i say gladiator takes this one.

I think that Gladiator has what it takes to beat Superman but I don't think he'll be able to keep his confidence up long enough against an opponet like Superman in which case Supes would take the victory. It won't be easy for either of them though.

I hate to say it because, I HATE SUPERMAN! but I see the "big blue ghey" win this one! Gladiator can't keep his confidence up long enough to beat supes, so I say the "big blue ghey" all the way! Hey that ryhyms!

Those are the cartoon versions not the comic ones, if it was comics I'd go with Supes since the second Gladiator starts to lose confidence he'd weaken and Supes doesn't go down easy. Gladiator from the cartoon was a badass tho and took care of Juggernaut easy. So voting Gladiator since those are the cartoon versions he's pitting against eachother.

Edit - NM, before I was going to give it to Superman 6 outta 10 times in comics and say it'd be close, but after looking thru that thread and seeing him beat Hyperion, I give it to Gladiator in comics as well. I mean I read about him in X-Men and other books, but didn't realise he had fought that many other hero's lol. I've always liked Gladiator and knew he was Marvel's Superman before Sentry, but didn't know he had done that much, thanks for the Gladiator respect threads . My vote stands on cartoon Gladiator beating cartoon Superman still, but u changed my mind on how it would go down in comics.

Honestly I think Gladiator is one of the most underrated comic hero's, and I by far like him better than Superman, and that was before I read that respect thread .

Wow at first I was gonna say Supes in a close one, but now I'm inclined to say Glasdiator takes it... in a close one none the less ofcourse. Meh-- infact it could go eitherrway. I can't really name a victor. I say Glads takes it 5 out 10 of the time.

Bottom line, it all depends on who the write is and who he feels like making the winner.

If you look at just the facts, Superman and Gladiator both have one weakness. Superman to Kryptonite, and Gladiator to an unknown frequency of radiation?...see FF issue #250 for the details.

Gladiator theoretically has the upper hand since he has some psionic powers when superman doesn't. But then again, superman is the original and Gladiator is the copy. Gladiator's name is Kallark=Clark for christ's sake.

Marvel writers love trouncing Gladiator to make their heroes look good; its their way of making superman look weak compared to their heroes.

Oh Please. Juggy "trounced" Banner Hulk through trickery. Supes knocked Banner Hulk out with ONE punch.

Juggy "trounced" Thor while Thor was ill. In their re-match, Thor mopped up the floor with him.

Superman is clearly Gladiator's superior, imo.
