I guess since it was deleted I will ask here, since there is a move in M.M.A called a superman punch should they add it in the movie, it is named after him after all

Originated in Muay Thai (or perhaps earlier, in China). Also known as the jumping or cobra punch.

Didn't know where to ask this... But I wonder when superman uses xray vision, what it's gonna look like. For instance in Sr when he was using xray his eyes never changed, he just squinted somewhat...I wonder if maybe his eye color will change sort of how he looks in the new 52....what do you think?

I did like how they did his x-ray vision in Superman Returns...different styles

Yea I thought it was cool to...but It would look a little more alien if his eyes changed as he did it as well, and I don't mean like storm either....sort of like a lighter blue or something

that doesn't really bother me..as long as it doesn't look stupid like Storm

How do you guys want Superman's heat vision to look, do you want the "heat wave" look from SR or would you rather see the "laser beam" approach?

Personally, I'd like the laser beam effect or maybe a mixture of the two.

Depends on the intensity of it.

A 'mild' shot of heat vision - heat wave look.

As it gets more intense/stronger, it turns redder and the beam grows physically larger, and it starts to look something a bit more laser-like - almost like Cyclops beam in the X-men films.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think we've only ever seen Superman use his heat vision at one level in any of the films. I don't recall ever seeing him really intensify it or let loose with it. Would be cool to see how he can regulate his powers somewhat like that based on what he's using them for.

I prefer for the beams to remain as two relatively thin individual beams to differentiate them from Cyclops's optic blast

Oh yeah, that's what I meant - 2 beams. But in terms of colour and transparency, much like Cyclops.

^^^ Oh of course, but I want them to remain and two individual beams no matter how far they travel, those beams in that pictures merge by the time they reach the bad guy.

Maybe if he used his xray vision this way:

you pretty much got the mixture in Superman Returns and Smallville

Heat waves, or a combination of the two. I think the "lazer beam" effect is generic and unimpressive.

Well I'm one of those people who would rather the laser effect, I wouldn't if they made the lasers oranges but I still want them to be lasers nevertheless.

Is there any particular reason for that preference?

I guess most people want laser vision because it looks like lasers in the comics...

Personally, I wouldn't mind lasers or the heat wave effect.

I just think the lasers look cooler than the "heat wave" effect and for some reason I love when characters use beam-based abilities.

This is also one of my reasons, albeit to a lesser extent.

I prefer the heat wave effect. I think Smallville perfected the look in seasons nine and ten.

It seemed to me that by then, it looked like the traditional laser effect. Not exactly the same, but it was much more red and pronounced.
