Well, if he really is evil\even for .5 sec, he just ruined the good will he got for his sacrifice in BvS. That would be the most asinine move ever if is real, which I hope to God is not. How would you react if this happens? Would you be fine with this? Could Superman somehow be pardoned if he goes bad after his actions in BvS?

"Bad" is subjective. He could be confused, mind controlled etc that he needs to overcome and fight off. This type of scenario always happens in hero stories and is not unusual. I for one would not be shocked or concerned. he will alway come back...stronger than ever.

He's SUPERMAN...!:woot:

I definitely think he'll come back under Darkseid/Steppenwolf's influence (like in the Knightmare scene). It's not like there's no precedent for this:

I think Batman will be the one who doesn't give up on Clark, seeing the 'best part' of him, and in a scene that mirrors BvS, Clark will regain his bearings and refrain from killing Bats when he sees that Lois is alive ("The key").

I definitely think Superman's gonna thrash the League under the thrall of Steppenwolf and make all the Heroes look like Zeroes before Lois Lane comes along and breaks his grip on Superman aka God. Then everyone gushes over him, they build statues in his likeness and the whole shebang. Wonder Woman, on the other hand, saved the World in 1918 however History has all but forgotten her

I prefer they not make him evil. I'd prefer bringing him back is Batman's plan as opposed to a tool by the enemy.

I don't think they're gonna do the Evil Superman thing. Johns and Berg made it clear they want to just get to the hope and optimism of the character at this point.

'Evil' is as it's already been pointed out somewhat a subjective term, would you consider him 'evil' if he's in some way confused after his resurrection or under Steppenwolf's control somehow?

I don't & won't have a problem with this angle at all, as it's also been pointed out, it isn't the first time that particularly with Darkseid, they've tried to brain wash & control Superman. Having Superman actually be under someone else's control against his will to be snapped out of it or stopped by the JL would only strengthen the bond & relationship with mainly Batman, but the rest of the JL.

They've barely made Superman a hero in this franchise so far (regardless of what characters keep trying to tell us - show, don't tell). You need to establish him as a hero before turning 'evil' can carry any weight. Turning him bad would be the laziest, least imaginative piece of Superman storytelling I could possibly imagine. They even already did it on Supergirl.

He only saved the world twice... but I think he missed saving some kittens out of trees, so negative hero points. Oh, and no smile.

I'm down for evil Superman.

A Superman vs Justice League battle would make up for how lame of a choice Steppenwolf was to be the main villain.

Like it had any weight to begin with. The Death of Superman in BVS wasn't earned at all, it should've been saved for later. But WB and Snyder wanted to tackle two of the biggest stories of all time (BvS and Death of Superman) so they threw it in there. In fact, they didn't earn the BvS fight either. Terrible motivations for that fight.

God I hope Whedon can fix Snyder and Terrio's work on JL.

You are completely off topic here, we aren't discussing if the death of Superman was earned or not. We are discussing if Superman comes back evil or good.
And it looks like we aren't getting an evil Superman, because it will redefine his whole arc throughout these three movies. The point in Justice League is to show The Superman we all wanted and need right now. The complete package.

A sneak peek or a taste of what I feel like our Superman will represent and be like in Justice League.

Maybe he'll just be uncertain and extremely susceptible/suggestible when he comes back, in a way similar to how Kara was in Superman/Batman: The Supergirl from Krypton (animated as Superman/Batman: Apocalypse).
