Supernatural - Season 5

As for the news itself. I hope they stretch out the current plot into the 6th season. Don't see where or how the show can go back to the norm after the boys defeat Lucifer. Unless they decide to hunt God next. :awesome:

How awesome would that be if they hunted God? I like Supernatural now, but loved it more before this whole Sam/Dean vs. Satan storyline they have going on.

Full Plot Details for Supernatural's Return

On January 21, the CW's hit series Supernatural resumes its fifth season and we've got the plot details on the next two episodes.

"Sam, Interrupted:" A former hunter named Martin, who is currently institutionalized, calls Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) for help investigating a case in the mental hospital. The brothers get themselves admitted as patients to check out the mysterious monster that is attacking the patients, but their incarceration pushes both to the breaking point as they unleash their inner demons against each other.

"Swap Meat:" Gary (guest star Colton James), a teenage nerd, conjures up a body-switching spell and changes bodies with Sam. Thrilled by his new handsome and built body, Gary (now Sam) investigates a case with Dean (Jensen Ackles) and takes advantage of his good looks and age by hitting on women and getting drunk. Meanwhile, Sam is stuck in Gary's teenage body, dealing with intrusive parents and high school.

Ah, the ol' "body switch" plot. Not exactly inspired, but put into the right hands an episode like this can be gold. We'll update this spot with photos as they come in!

So it seems in the 2nd ep Sam can get a feel for what its like to have a mormal life again I suppose. While the kid is pretending to be Sam. Poor sammy.

I like the sounds of it. The writers of the show will have a field day with the body switch episode.

Yea if anyone can pull off a damn good body-swap story its these writers!

Veronica Mars also had **** numbers....it lost a chunk of its audience between season 2 and 3 for some odd reason

I was sittin watching Watchmen the other nite and it had been driving me nuts trying to figure out who was playing The Comedian. JDM looks so different in it than on Supernatural, drove me nuts trying to figure it out then I was like "Duh! Thats Daddy Winchester!"

S5 poster from the TCAs:

It reminds me of the Terminator Summer Glau posters. :cwink:

I bought my uncle season 1 for christmas. I heard form him yesterday and he said He's already watched the whole season. Dexter used to be his favorite show but now he says this is his favorite. I'm glad he liked it, he said he plans to buy all the other seasons very soon.

Very quickly supernatural is returning as well! I'm excited. I just hope Bobby grows new legs soon :(:( Or wait, even better thet should go to australia and get on an Oceanic Airliners plane. Bobby will be all better in no time.

'Supernatural' exclusive: 'Southland' thesp takes aim at Cupid role

Loathe Valentine’s Day? Then you’re going to seriously heart Supernatural’s fittingly dark take on the candy-and-flowers holiday.

First, some casting scoop: Southland’s Lex Medlin has been tapped to play Cupid in the Feb. 11 episode, titled a “My Bloody Valentine.”

Now the plot deets: When couples all over town start engaging in obsessive, compulsive, and deadly behavior, Sam and Dean launch an investigation. With the help of Castiel, they learn that Maryann from True Blood a naked Cherub (Medlin, above) may be involved and track him down for questioning.

The spoilery twist: The ******** *a**** may be the real culprit!

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Supernatural Season 5, Episode 13 Photos!

Matt Cohen returns as a young John Winchester and Sam and Dean (Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles, respectively) are thrown back into the past in "Back to the Future Part 2," the 13th episode in Supernatural's fifth season.

The CW hasn't provided us with a full synopsis for this chapter yet, but photos were made available. The episode airs on February 4. We'll update this spot as more details are made available.

Cohen first played Winchester in the series' last season ("In the Beginning") when Dean was dropped into 1973 where he meets a younger version of his parents. (Very Back to the Future-esque, of course.)

New guest for Valentine's Day episode!

Horseman Famine?

Confirmed. There have been spoilers circulating for a little while now that the Valentine's Day ep will be the first appearance of Famine: an old, raspy, skin and bones actor was what they were looking for. Apparently the producers are very proud of their take on Famine, from interviews I've read with Kripke. So I'm interested to see what they've got to offer.

I know they wouldn't a high profile actor like this, but Steve Buscemi would be perfect for Fammine.

Yeah he looks more ripped in the movie for some reason. He didn't look that big in Supernatural but in the movie..........he looks like he's on roids. He needs to come back to Supernatural. :argh:

Will SN finally be back on with new episodes next week?
