Supernatural - Season 5

so based on the latest promo, that girl from the last episode is back. I think she may be more involved with Dean and Sam than we think. Maybe she's an angel?

So Micheal and Satan are the best angels in Supernatural universe.

And the strongest of all of them?
Lucifer isn't as strong as Micheal or so they said at the start of the season when they told Dean he was the vessel. They more or less said Micheal was the top angel and would kill Lucifer with one hit.

If there are Angels in this fight, are there Seraphim, Cherubs and what nots?

Can an angel bring another angel back? The way the show goes they more or less say Lucifer is no different from any other angel, he's just evil is all.

Well, the archangels are more powerful than other angels. That's why that one was able to rip Cas apart, and he was so afraid of Raph (expecting to die again).

Yea someone here had a theory that she was really God, which I must say is quite interesting, though introducing God this early would be kinda lame

That is pretty badass.

It'd be right up Kripke's alley to have God be a pre-established character whenever they do the big reveal... I mean, I think it'd be lame if the clouds parted and some guy/girl we'd never seen before that episode showed up and pulled the "I'm God" card out.

She cant be because her adn Sam get "hooked". Watch the latest promo.

I think she could be an angel trying to steer Sam back to the good path and away from Lucifer...

He's also the first angel. I think a lot of you should leaf through Paradise Lost. It took me about 10 years to get through the whole thing(I kept putting it down, going back, rereading parts) but it's quite amazing. I think the producers have also referenced it when talking about their approach to Lucifer.

This isn't quite correct. Michael is the most powerful of the archangels, yes, but before him Lucifer was top dog, and Lucifer is very powerful. Here's a quote from Paradise Lost, something I remembered when they talked about Michael's sword in the first episode.

But the sword Of Michaël from the armoury of God
Was given him tempered so that neither keen
Nor solid might resist that edge: it met
The sword of Satan, with steep force to smite
Descending, and in half cut sheer; nor stayed,
But, with swift wheel reverse, deep entering, shared
All his right side. Then Satan first knew pain,
And writhed him to and fro convolved; so sore
The griding sword with discontinuous wound
Passed through him.

Michael was able to defeat Lucifer because he was supported by God(who provided him with the sword). See I have this theory. With Raphael spilling his guts about God being missing, and them just wanting Paradise, the angels are clearly running by themselves. They figured they would jumpstart the whole thing, Michael will show up, kill Satan, and it would be Paradise as promised. Only this time Michael doesn't have God to back him up anymore. So, I don't think Michael showing up is going to be the big cake walk they think it is.

I'm totally in this boat. I'm sure that at some point we're going to see the Angels' plan fall to pieces (presumably near the finale) when Lucifer finds a way to destroy/incapacitate Michael.

I'm kind of hoping for their true forms to be more classical look but mustangs and motorcycles would work just fine. Any other vehicles with horse themes?

Doesn't fit the classic American car theme, but the Ferrari symbol is a horse.

If they want to keep the car thing going...
- Lamb Diablo (devil)
- Viper and Cobra (if they want to play up the snake)
- Boss Mustang (good for either side)

I really hope God isn't personified on this show. I think it cheapens the aspect of God if you try to give him a personality, or take human form. For angels and demons I can see that, but I think God would just be way too beyond that.

Also, when Raphael was talking to Dean and Cass about God not being there, did anyone else get a Preacher vibe? Could the producers take a similar approach to God?

Personally I'd prefer it if... (for instance) it was revealed that some angel (like Michael) made God up as a means of controlling the other angels. Probably not gonna happen though.

However, I was just saying, if God was to chose a vessel, then seeing as how Dean is Michael's vessel and Sam is Lucifer's vessel then John would make the most sense.
Dean is the son who followed in John's footsteps without hesitation. Sam is the one who wanted his own path and to leave his father's work behind. It would be analogous to Michael, Lucifer and God.

Wow, you've really got something there. It would be a great way to bring Morgan back to the show.

But his body's pretty burnt up... Which is obviously reversible when you're writing a world full of Angels, Demons and everything in between. :woot:

But the idea itself has plenty of weight. Among other things, John (or even just God appearing as John) would be one of the few things that might be powerful to inspire both boys to fight off their possessors (and I think it's a pretty safe bet that at some point this season Dean WILL host Michael and Sam WILL host Lucifer).

As good as that sounds, however, I don't think that's the angle Kripke and Co. are going for.

Jesus! That is some deep sh**!!!

Should be funny to see what Cass does and acts in this ep. Based on the wash up for the orgy comment from the preview.

I love zombies. Tonight is a zombie episode on Supernatural. Then next week is another zombie episode on Smallville.

yeah, female zombies. they'll eat your brains and then want to cuddle afterwards.
