I kind of hope Bobby stays dead and ghostly. Just make him a regular fixture again, but as a ghost this time.

Meh. I'd rather see him help the boys do-in the Leviathans and then move on.

If you're going to keep Ghost Bobby around, why not keep regular Bobby around? If anything you've just made him a more valuable character than he was. And they originally killed him to make life harder on the boys.

If they keep Ghost Bobby around he should play the same role Ghost Spike did on Angel.

It was a good episode. When Sam said he used a witchboard to contact Bobby and no reply came , I thought it might've been John.

The Leviathans are horrible. I've been watching this show from day one, and these are the most uninteresting big bads by far.

Could have done so much more with 'Mad God' Castiel. Hopefully we'll get a halfway decent end to the season and hopefully they'll bounce back in season 8.

If you wanna talk about uninteresting, may I bring up Lilith who was nothing except for someone to just lay some time before the release of Lucifer?

I never saw the point of Lilith either. All she was was eye candy. For an upper level demon she sure was useless. Crowley is even more useless. All he's done is suck up to Raphael and Castiel before he became the new God. He gave the boys the Colt back and uncrippled Bobby. So much for being the new king of Hell. On top of that he's scared s******* of the Leviathans.

Eve did create the Jefferson Starships. You gotta give her that at least right ?:awesome:

How does Meg of all Demons keep popping up ? She needs to die & stay dead

Because no one's really tried to kill her except for Dean last season, but she disappeared before Dean could grab Ruby's knife.

I like the leviathens since they are a completely different kind of enemy.

The couldn't really do more with "Mad God" Castiel because he was way to powerful.

Eve was boring and really only served to move the Crowley and Cas thing along.

Crowley for all his talk about being the king of hell is just a minor level demon compared to all the ones that were around before the show started.

No I agree that the Leviathans are pretty lame. They had us believe they were sooooooo powerful when they took over Castiel but honestly they're nothing but shapeshifters who are immune to silver, but can get beheaded. I like the way they operate, but as monsters they suck to me.

Lilith was hyped to be a terrifying powerhouse, which was backed up when she leveled the police station. Not to mention she had everyone trembling with fear. Lilith was a great villain to me.

And Eve was a great concept, one I wish was carried out to next season. This season should have been Cas the Badass and Eve as the villains. Every episode this season has been up to par but when the Leviathans step up they get lamer and lamer. "We're curing cancer!" Now I know that's not what it really is, but I'm disappointed in Sam and Dean actually buying the story (or at least that was it seems like cause they definitely seemed to have left the Levi hunt alone).

But that's just my opinion.

The Leviathans are fine. I'm sure if they get another season, they'll be able to be fleshed out better and further.

Eve was pointless.

Crowley is at least entertaining.

Azazel was the best villain though.

Eve was pointless because for some odd reason the writers didn't feel the need to flesh out her character. She was awesome until the Phoenix ash got to her. Crowley is great, no doubt. His business mentality ****s all over Dick Roman's.

They just had too many balls in the air with season 6. Unfortunately, that meant finishing off the Eve storyline in the most uneventful/unsatisfying way possible.

I still enjoyed alot of S6, but it just wasn't as fluid as the other seasons.

And I really don't see any problems with the Leviathans. In fact, I quite like them. They've got an Invasion of the Body-Snatchers feel to them. And they mean business for Sam and Dean.

I like that the Leviathans are using modern society against the Winchesters. That's relatively new. Most of the other villains have operated on the fringes. The Leviathans mark the first time the villains actually use society to their advantage rather than just marching into small towns and slaughtering everyone or sneaking up on the Winchesters and trying to kill them like one or two at a time. I'd like to see more of that.

Other than that, however, I have to agree that the Leviathans aren't especially interesting individually. They're literally just ghouls with fewer weaknesses.

Yeah season 6 grew on me rewatching it a second time. It had a ton of things going for it, its just that everything was just handled poorly. Mainly the Campbells. I was so excited they were exploring Mary's side of the family but they made them *****ebags, made us hate them and killed them all off. I would've loved Samuel to redeem himself and stick around or something.

And I agree about the Body Snatchers comparison. That's the one thing I like about the Leviathans. They're more organized and the whole invasion thing they got going on is cool. But that's it. All they've done is killed Bobby and that's been done before. They shoulda focused on the monster war they were building up in season 6. That would've been very very interesting if all the monsters began working together. *sigh* The wasted potential....

Lilith got short changed a bit. She was introduced in a Season 3 that was ultimately cut short by the writer's strike.

Then by the time they show had come back it had been decided that they'd really play up the Angel involvement, which reduced her role even more.

You've got to remember that her original role was going to be as Sam's "rival" or sorts... but got radically re-written.

I honestly think what bothers most people about the Leviathans is that the damn things just have no personality short of "We eat people!"

The show's big bads (and usually their lieutenants, too) have historically been pretty interesting villains. They've had character and personality. Short of Dick Roman himself, the Leviathans couldn't be more bland.

I agree, but like Schlosser85 said, he is a kind of entertaining, but still I'm on your side: he needs to go.

I'm pretty much sick of her too, she needs to bit the dust. I never really liked her that much in the first place, nor did I found her so threatning, apart from Season 1. I don't find the actress who plays her impressive either, she is ok.

I loved Katie Cassidy as Ruby, WIN imo! She had this very seductive, yet mysterious feeling to her. Then they replaced her with Genevieve and I kinda lost interest for the character at times, apart from the periods where she was "training" Sam.

I think the same regarding the LeviathaNs: I was so excited about them in the beginning of the season, but as we moved on, they got more & more dull imo. Also the episode with the salesman Leviathans (Out with the Old), was pretty much uninteresting (I mean strictly the leviathans part) and a bit funny.

Eve was pointless.

Azazel was the best villain though.
Eve sucked. She got killed of easily and she didn't do pretty much before that either. They could've done so much better with that character, but let's not forget that they also had the angel war to deal with! And about those "DRAGONS", don't get me started on those...just FAIL!

Azazel was great! A proper villain! I totally loved Azazel, Lucifer & Alaistair! Sadistic, menacing and pure EVIL and each with their own personality, each a bastard in his own way! Loved it. I definetly need to rewatch SPN Season 1-5 soon!

Yes, they are just like regular monsters, only more powerful. Still, I'm more curious about the main story with the Leviathans to move on, rather than these fillers, although the latest episode was cool.

I'm the only one that loves Meg? She's been a personal favorite since season 1. I like any villain that constantly pops up for a good reason and Meg has been handled very well. She has yet to do anything out of character. I just wish we had a different name for her. I'm pretty sure the demon wasn't known as "Meg" but now I'm just nitpicking. I used to complaij about the angel demon plot lines but honestly with the few times they've been the focus in episodes this season they made me really miss those stories, especially in comparison to the Leviathans.

Personally I think leviathans are fine. They are a slower burner villain. And crowley been a fav of mine. I do agree lillth and eve where wasted characters.

Meg Masters was the name of the first girl that this demon possessed (Season 1), so I guess the boys got used to calling the demon "Meg", since they didn't knew it by other name.

I'd love to see more of Dick. He was pretty fun--almost like Buffy's Mayor, only they left him a bit more overtly sinister.

I wouldn't mind Meg as much if she were still played by her original actress. I find the girl that's in the role now to be just grating to listen to.

That, and the brothers' compliance with her seems completely forced. It's one thing to work with a known villain that hasn't really burned you before (like Crowley). But Meg was the one that ultimately killed Ellen and Jo. It's completely out of characterization for either Winchester (Dean especially) to not have tried to kill her half a dozen times by now.
