I figured with news on Season 6 to start soon there should be a thread for it, so let the discussion begin!

9:00-10:00 P.M. "SUPERNATURAL"

Returning for its sixth season, this haunting series follows Sam and Dean Winchester, two brothers bound by tragedy and blood to their dangerous, other-worldly mission. This past season, Dean and Sam faced their toughest foe yet: the Devil himself. As the Apocalypse raged on around them, the brothers, aided only by a dwindling band of fellow hunters and rebel angel Castiel, sought a way to stop Lucifer and save the planet. Ultimately, they discovered a way to force Lucifer back into Hell and end the Apocalypse - but at tremendous cost: Sam's life. Season six will be a season of mystery and shadow. Heaven and Hell have been left in complete disarray since the apocalyptic events of season five. And now, monsters, angels and demons roam across a lawless and chaotic landscape. And so Dean Winchester, who has retired from hunting and sworn never to return, finds himself being pulled back into his old life - pulled back by none other than Sam Winchester, who has escaped from Hell. The two reunite to beat back the rising tide of creatures and demon-spawn, but they quickly realize that neither are who they used to be, their relationship isn't what it used to be, and that nothing is what it seems.

The series stars Jared Padalecki as Sam Winchester, Jensen Ackles as Dean Winchester and Misha Collins as Castiel. SUPERNATURAL is from Warner Bros. Television in association with Wonderland Sound and Vision, with executive producers McG ("Nikita," "Charlie's Angels," "The O.C."), Eric Kripke ("Boogeyman"), Robert Singer ("Midnight Caller"), Sera Gamble, Ben Edlund and Phil Sgriccia.

REVISED CW PRIMETIME LISTINGS BEGINNING JANUARY 28 (ALL TIMES ET)

Please note the following changes to the FRIDAY NIGHT schedule:

• On Friday, January 28, (8:00-9:00 p.m.) an encore of THE VAMPIRE DIARIES episode titled “The Descent” will air in place of the previously announced SMALLVILLE episode titled “Collateral.”

• On Friday, January 28 (9:00-10:00 p.m.) an encore of the NIKITA episode titled “Free” will air in place of the previously announced SUPERNATURAL episode titled “Like a Virgin.”

• The revised Friday night schedule for January 28, February 4 and February 11 follows below.


Also, please note the following changes to schedule on WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 2:

• From 8:00-9:00 p.m., an encore of the SMALLVILLE episode “Icarus” will air in place of the previously announced episode of THE VAMPIRE DIARIES titled “The Descent.”

• From 9:00-10:00 p.m., an encore of the SUPERNATURAL episode titled “Appointment in Samarra” will air in place of the previously announced NIKITA episode titled “Free.”

Nikita is awesome. At least it's got some balls, so to speak.

I'd much rather all those teeny-bopper shows get canned and CW become a real network instead of a joke.

No...Nikita is a horrible show and it only makes sense why a network such as CW would run such a series.

I don't care for Smallville, but "Like A Virgin" was said to be the best episode of season six so far and I was way excited to watch it.

Ahhhhh....eff CW. Eff them hard.

I genuinely hope The CW gets bombarded with complaints to the point of people losing their jobs because of this. It's just such a blatant disrespect to the viewers. There's absolutely no reason a decision like this couldn't have been made weeks ago, but they waited until a DAY before the episodes were supposed to air and pulled the rugs out from under us, just for the sake of upping their numbers of two episodes that will air regardless, because they're too afraid of the havok Idol might cause them. Idiots, all of them.
