Superpowers by Kreuger/Ross from Dynamite

i have a copy waiting for me at islander comics i have to get a ride there first

Eh, art was good, not too sold on the story though. Trade waiting....:o

I enjoyed it; but then I enjoy revived characters from way back when. Nice to see some characters that I had only read about, like "The Green Lama" and the old "Daredevil" getting a rerun.

I like the more mythic approach this is taking compared to the Twelve which is all about placing these men out of time into the morally gray times of the 20th century.

I agree St.Barbara,I'm all for reading about characters that existed long before I was born being brought back from obscurity.

It's as if they're trying to recapture Captain America's old vibe. Or maybe just trying to make the typical Marvel point about moral grayness being the truth of all things. I like the Twelve, but I think I'm going to like Project Superpowers more.

Hahaha, The Green Lama. Awesome.

i concur the lama my turn out to be a breakout star

the previews for #1 are up at CBR

everyone was worried about this relatively unknown artist as the series regular, but I'm very pleased with the art,not too much of a transition from Sadowski

I like, I think it's better then some of the stuff that Marvel and DC keeps ramming down are throats.

I kind of liked what Alan Moore did with the characters in Tom Strong better.

I've been wondering this. I think in issue 4 or 5 the Black Terror say that the Dynamic Family put tracking device in his body. If he was locked away in another realm in the urn and he just appears in the sewers, when did they put the tracking devices in him?

So I've been reading this stuff and decided that it's probably some of my favorite stuff out there. I find myself at work thinking about the Black Terror, the American Spirit, etc... and the plots just have me totally sucked in.

The most recent issue that follows up on Project Superpowers 1/2 has just pulled me into the newest mini and I can't wait to see how all that turns out.

And I didn't really care to read the Meet the Bad Guys mini that's branched out of this but it's totally good, and I especially liked the newest issue with Yank, American Spirit, and the Revolutionary.

And soon Black Terror's mini will continue as an ongoing.

I'm finding all of this is really good, better than most of Marvel's stuff (which is what I mostly buy) and with the exception of maybe Nova, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Green Lantern... these are probably my most looked forward too books each month. And I don't even care a lick about Golden Age comics.

Why aren't more people discussing this book?

Yeah, JH... I think this is great too! I wish more people were reading this stuff. It's grrrrrrrEEAAATT!

I'm glad somebody resurrected all these vintage superheroes, too.

Great art. Innovative story.

Yay! Another fan. I am loving this universe. And I love that the art has been great in every single storyline, that's also a big help.

So far the only bad thing to come out of this line is Truth's mustache.... that just looked dumb.

I just found out about this series a few days ago by accident. I walked into the local comic book store, and I saw the books, and I thought the covers looked interesting. I bought a couple books without even knowing anything about what it was. And I thought the whole idea was just so cool. The way everybody was stuck in an Urn, it kind of explains why they haven't been around for years and years.

Black Terror is totally bad-ass.
