Dynamite and Top Cow create new comic universe. Discuss damnit!

So yeah, I was reading Wizard the other day and they were talking about this new joint venture by Dynamite and Top Cow of a new universe with characters designed by Marc Silvestri. Seems petty interesting at this point with some solid ideas for comics, heres an article I dug up on it:

This sounds a little lame. It's basically the same as any new start-up company creating its own universe around a couple of creators' characters. Why not just merge the Dynamite and Top Cow universes, thus enriching both, and then have Silvestri create a bunch of new characters there, thus enriching both even more?

All I know is, there are some pretty decent ideas in there that can become great books with the right writers.

The Devilers sounds kind of cool. Plus that picture is awesome. No matter how many villains you have with goatees, that look never stops looking evil. Goatees = evil. It's just a law of the universe.

Are Top Cow still owned by Image?

I can't actually remember the last time I read anything by Top Cow.

The art is very nice though, I'll listen out for it.

I love "damnit!!". It's an awesome word and the best way to curse when you don't want to use profanity. I also like "dammit!!!". Here's an example: "Darthphere, what are you doing reading Wizard, DAMNIT!!!" Isn't it universally known by now that only losers read them?!

NB: Right – it looks at what happens when you have the seven most powerful religious leaders join together, because there is a threat so great that only they can deal with it. And of course, they don’t see eye to eye, but they have to, to have any hope of stopping this threat. When you look at that image that Marc drew, you can see the power in the characters as well as the devil that they’re fighting.

I can't believe no one has made the obvious Super Best Friends joke.

I bet that the guy with no symbol on the chest is Tom Cruise and Xenu is gonna provide them with alien tech to fight the devils.
