Yes, I would do a return receipt option so I would know when each player opened their pm and read it.

Just be careful if you have 3 or so new pms because if you open it accidently, it's not my fault.

Official Survivor Notice:

There will be a few timed challenges. I'm trying to work out the kinks in trying to arrange them. I am leaving mine towards the Final merge but I know there are some hosts who have it planned for earlier.

There will be some challenges based on some internet games that I wanted to do.

I was thinking of making it a 2 grading system for these timed challenges using an average of 2 scores.

Let's say there's a "Movie Trivia" internet game and it takes 10 minutes to do and at the end you'd have a score of 90. This would be the first score.

The other would be a second score based on the time it takes you from opening a pm to submitting your results, (print screen, then copy to Paint, save, then post to imageshack).

0 - 20 minutes 100
21-30 minutes 80
31-40 minutes 60
41-50 minutes 40
51-60 minutes 20
An hour and 1 minute and higher 0

If a poster opens the pm at 8:00 and submits his answers at 8:30 you give a score of 90 + 80 / 2 = 85.

I am just throwing this out here now so you may understand it before I just drop it on you later.

Yes which is why it's more effective in the later rounds when it's everyone for themselves. But it still works for these rounds.

That's why I'm posting it now. I want as many people exposed to the rules of those challenges now. I don't want to hear, I accidently opened my pm. Also, if I don't recieve an "return receipt" the 2nd score is automatically 0.

Timed challenges and not opening PMs should be familiar strategy to Survivor vets. But there is a lot of new blood so Erz is trying to make things very clear to everyone.

It's more a matter of you should not open your PM until you have the time and are prepared to play. You don't want to open it right before you're going to bed and then realize you just lost 7 hours on your challenge time.
